Envia mothballing a plant is one thing. Waiting for an insurance payout to fix the plant is another. In the meantime how do they pay there overheads such as specialised personnel to run there plant when back up. What do there potential customers do in the meantime. What other options are there? Chapter 11. Equity stake to a benevolent partner. Full sale of the plant in broken condition. Fix plant get it up and running then sell. Fix plant and have commercial success satisfying investors alike. The other thing I noted from the RNS was the loan velocys made is unlikely to be paid back in the short term. All apparently due to incompetence by the EPC contractor. All things considered this is why the investors find they have been left holding the baby. Personally I feel somewhat duped by the board concerning the various placings but I guess thats how business operates in these areas. Now for a breath of fresh air, the Envia plant is or could be an absolute gem assuming they get it working right and don't experience anymore hiccups or teething troubles as a result of the EPC contractors shortcomings. I still remain confident Velocys can turn things around and have adopted a IMO correct stop loss strategy. I believe this technology is necessary to help clean up our planet and will have huge scope in the future. Am locked in like most so have to wait and see.

Now apparently APT also produce emulsion fuels but I'm not familiar with them so please don't shoot the messenger.
