In terms of my personal interests in investing in VAl - it’s principally to make a good return.

That’s my primary objective- maybe is gambling- yeh in terms of AIM not a bad description.

But to classify ourselves as ‘Philanthropists’ - interested in the greater good of mankind in terms of curing illness - stretching it a bit- I think George sees it as that.

Not excusing the mismanagement etc but they know that there is always an element of dare I say it - greed! And AIM companies are good at playing on that deadly sin.

Ok. He’s probably referring to the fact that we didn’t provide primary source of funds? I know we take up the shares eventually but ....

I suppose he has a point though - investing on AIM is a bit like gambling- maybe more than just a bit.

Hi Fred- in a previous post you mention that we as private investors were referred to as ‘gamblers’ - where did that expression originate? The letter is polite but nothing if real substance.

Yes Desamax- I’ve always believed that there was something ‘insider’ about this company.

If VAL 201 comes good or is groundbreaking then they have partners lined up to take a significant equity stake- once consolidation takes place that is.

An awful lot depends on Val 201. It it works....

Maybe we’re further up the creek than we need to be because of the actions of this Shareholder Action Group? Who knows how it will pan out?

Certainly it’s a lot more risky now! No doubt about it.

BB- I’m not claiming any monopoly of wisdom - in this or in any other matter in relation to stock investment strategy rules and associated issues

We - are all adult investors- we know the score- we know the risks- it’s our decision.

Shareholder action groups - mostly achieve nothing- they are invariably hijacked by vested interests and ultimately fail.

Fred- we assume that you are capable I your managerial and consultancy skills.

This is about negotiation and coming out with a win win result. Not easy but best of good wishes and all that!

Get real- this company has to survive or WE LOSE ALL OUR MONEY!!

Stop putting yourself up as a saviour- more crucifer ad some shareholders see it.

I think we need a balanced viewpoint- not One Party!

1.This momentum for change started with a few bitter disgruntled shareholders- maybe at most 6/8 who post regularly here.
2. Momentum continued and we got a retired gent on board maybe with nothing better to do despite his stated qualifications in engineering Management Consultancy et al. I know I’ve been there! Also have the University qualifications.
3. To date - despite the urge to get people to vote against the consolidation - There is no clear message what we want to see from the rebirth of Our Company.
4. Freddie is a bit out of his debt and there may be legal obligations around the process he is unaware of.
5. What’s happens after We Win!!!

While clearly VAL have a significant responsibility over the years- latest Shareholder Action Group actions introduces a huge additional element of risk despite what others say here.

Agree Waynesmith- when you start a revolution you need a plan for how to bring things together afterwards.

It’s important that the issues you and some others have raised are considered and not quickly dismissed.

Tcxman- everybody is entitled to their opinion. It’s a free country and all that.

But it’s wrong to state ‘we are all in this together. We are not!

Clearly there is common ground among mist on this BB - but it’s in the execution of what we are trying to achieve lies high risk.

You may have written off your investment but that gives you no right to decide the fate of others.
