Sorry. It is production not market. Even so it's a low production cost so the market price will also be low. That's all good.

Low production costs means an affordable unit that can have a good margin.

Low cost = more customers. You COULD have this at a school during registration. Or at an office. It's not just about airports and big events. There are many many applications for this.

How is this RNS nothing? The cost per unit is a huge piece of information. How many times do I see in AIM the question ‘what is the production cost?’.

It’s a low cost unit whichever way you look at it and that means higher margin from sales at a competitive market price.

I think it just became a very attractive proposition for businesses and services that want to test at the door. There is even an argument for home use for some (not me but I could imagine my employer handing them out to key staff because Covid absence is a big problem).

TMS is missing the point, EUA had to apply for the benefits and because they were successful they have to RNS it because the benefits are material and of interest to investors.

I didnt see anything in the RNS about 'EUA's desperate attempt to make it look as though this is some kind of super special unique state aid'. That is TMS's interpretation.

Actually the benefits are very substantial regardless of how we perceive the RNS's mood.

Couple of trades - sells - 66k in total - went through and the SP fell to about 175. Probably there was couple of stop losses at that level and the mms were only too happy to dive down and grab those shares. Nobody else sold down there.
Now the ask is up to 184.4 again.
Is it odd?

To understand why the SP is so volatile I think we have to consider that we are in a period where it is more or less certain that there will be no news before at least 16th December (last patient dosed + 35 days). After that and probably within say 1 - 20 ays we will get news about that the trial - that is nailed on certainty - good or bad. These circumstances are rare in AIM investing. As we get closer to news we will get more upward pressure. For the next 10 days it's all about positioning and I bet our II friends have orders in around these prices.

It's about marketing. Marketing can be material from a regulatory perspective or at least a company can take advantage of the RNS service in these circumstances.

The materiality is that SNG are presenting at this important event. That's positive. If they didn't tell us then we might be grumpy about it and SNG would miss an opportunity to make it more widely known to investors.

I wouldn't rule out something positive in terms of what is said/how the message is related etc. but they are meant to include that in the RNS if there is.

It's just very good to see SNG out there.

Thanks Doc. Actually I was about to say I saw 450k shares so far today when the number on Investing.com shot up to 750k.... that wasn't a sudden surge in trades. Just the software catching up I guess.

Appreciate you responding. I was going to suggest that the volume has though been very low since 9:30. I suppose need to see a day through before I make any assumptions.

I don't see the SP being kept back. Rather there is no volume to drive it up. The end result may be the same if II's are looking at this today and wondering when would be a good time to buy more they will be acutely aware that they will spike the SP with any volume whatsoever.

Sharedealer - i think if you are right we will see the SP move up this afternoon.

Volume looks exceptionally low to me. I don't usually look at that so is it just me seeing that today? Perhaps the RNS has created a bit of a smoke screen with some anticipating some news from this presentation.

I don't think its down on the RNS. It's down because the P3 trial data cannot be unblinded until after 16th December. Low volume often results in SP falls. If there is any increase in volume it will likely move up quite fast again. Truth is that long term holders have settled positions and the next tranche of investment won't feel pressure to invest until we are closer to the P3 RNS.

The title of the presentation is rather bullish:

'Interferon beta has potent antiviral activity against SARS-CoV-2 including variants of concern'

Generally Isee these presentation RNS'd all the time - see DDDD as an example as they often RNS about poster presentations and nothing very material comes of it.

This one being RNS'd so late is a bit odd but I reckon it's more they are realising they have an opportunity to get some visibility by issuing an RNS at this stage and any public event is quite relevant for investors so close to news - the materiality might be the tone of it.
