As a shareholder I really would prefer to wait a couple of years because the SP is incredibly low right now. If the war ends and the geopolitical situation improves we get more from an asset sale. Have waited for a few years and will wait a few years more.

Since the invasion I have been expecting either a de listing due to the war making operations impossible or an even longer wait. Obviously prefer the latter.

With due respect that isn't true. A sale of assets of any material size that rewards UK shareholders is not a great message from a Russian perspective right now. Yes they would be more than happy to see a sale of Russian assets to a BRICS company but beneficiaries of that would be very sensitive indeed. They could repatriate the assets and sell them anyway. I expect EUA have been holding off hoping for a resolution in Ukraine because the way the Russian authorities behave immediately on any significant news is completely unpredictable.

There is a massive geopolitical crisis with the war ongoing in Ukraine. There is in my view no way for EUA to announce a sale without attracting the attention of Russian authorities.

Is it really this hard for people to understand why EUA are being very very quiet right now??

Any new trial would be announced by SNG first.

It looks great and I completely believe that this is a device that works. It's also important to understand that C Smythe has almost nothing to do with the commercialisation of it.

TB could not buy or sell recently until last week as the company was in a closed period. He has bought a relatively modest number of shares and clearly sees that as a good investment. I would like to see more director buys true but it is positive insider sentiment (as opposed to insider information). Generally seen as a good thing.

If TB was selling a lot of you would just love it. Even when TB isn't selling there is so much crap about him selling on here. Well he has bought some - go figure.

I had a very brief chat with Viv Hallam at BRH this morning. I asked about the timing of the Covid longitudinal study, whether it's starting or has it started, when it will finish etc.

He obviously doesn't want to disclose anything commercially sensitive. Did say we will hear more about the Covid study in the coming weeks. They just came out of a closed period - hence TB buying some shares I guess.

He did say they were working very hard on a number of areas and not just the Covid test and I assumed he meant not just Paraytec.

This is the second time I have ever spoken to Viv. Interesting to me that you can pick up the phone for a chat. He is always friendly and willing to speak. Of course he cannot give anything sensitive away and I respect that.

Director not allowed to buy shares if knows the outcome of something positive to the share price. So to me he has bought shares at the start of the longitudinal study for Covid and is anticipating it will be declared a success. Showing confidence in the product.

Not really. I generally expect to see 2 of these rather than 1. It's a bit murky but in general when we get these expect to see a UT after hours trade which I understand as an amalgam of unreported stuff at close after the closing auction. It is very common for the UT to be much closer to the SP at the start of the day than the end of the day. So we get these big changes in the reported SP at the end of the day which are not really representative of the SP if you consider that the SP is the market value in real time.

But is Polygon a 'long fund'. What is this fund? They certainly are not an insurance company or a mutual fund.

I'm not trying to be trouble here but as far as I can tell they are investors with a portfolio.

I'm in a bit of a flippant mood with this share BUT I think you can buy and sell within a cycle before announcing. So over a 3 day period they could do that and then we get the RNS of the net outcome. I may be talking ****** but in any case Polygon know they will get the chance to buy in mid 20s and many are selling it down from mis 30s is the kinda equilibrium we have and I'm not surprised to see traders getting onto that until there is actual news.

This is the third time since May that the SNG SP has risen to 35p and on the 2 other occasions it has then fallen back to the mid 20's within days of that.

So if you are a trader guess what you do!

I'm just disappointed I didn't do it TBH. Buy at 25p and sell at 35p. Might be worth a go. I think that's exactly what Polygon is doing...

I think I'm right in saying that when Poly top up it has been in the mid 20s. So if they topped up over 30p then I think something is going on or at least they are more materially executing on whatever strategy they have.

I invested a modest amount last week. Looking at the comms previously I do note that the comms now seems to be robust and frequent.

What isn't clear to me having had a look around is what the likely timescales are for the drill projects. Anyone got a better view of that?

Experience of delivering more than 1 successful M&A deal is significant experience. Don't know why anyone argues the toss with some of these idiots.

I agree with you Benster - I read the RNS and thought it was par with our share price.

On reflection this company has received interest from a lot of short term investors looking for a quick buck from the Covid test last year and they are disappointed as am I. I'm disappointed because at one point there was a possibility of a big return here if only if only. That didn't happen.

Honestly the overall market is so bad right now. From a portfolio view for me I might as well stick with it when I look at everything else that's doing badly BRH still have a chance of getting the test kit to market and a sale of Phasefocus can happen or they can grow bigger and tap more sales.

It's risk reward here. Maybe there is a 10% chance of Covid coming back and that being timed well with our test kit testing? Maybe a company makes an offer for the whole test kit IP? Maybe Phasefocus gets a big order from China? Who knows. But for what I have invested I have in the bottom draw/would be nice/lets see category - and it's not on it's own from an AIM perspective.

Next news will likely be output from the Covid longitudinal study and if they have made progress on Sepsis. Much has been mae of the many facets of the test and I wonder if the device can be made truly modular or if a prospective buyer is looking at the low cost of the device alongside continually developing capability for various viruses etc.

Waiting isn't what we like but it's more or less always what we end up doing in the investing game.

PrivateRyan. Thanks - I didn't recall that detail. But it did not go well after that and TB left.

It remains true that the BRH dividend on the back of the mask sale was huge.

Also seem to remember that TB tried to raise capital to invest further in the NNN masks but there was a shareholder revolt led by Gareth Cave which all sorts of folk on the NNN board supported because they didn't like the sound of dilution - TB then left the NNN BOD (it was called RMS then). It didn't end well for RMS as they were unable to get significant volumes of the mask to market.

Some serious revisionist history going on!
