Well if the CEO says it will take 4-6 weeks to get the rig to the drill site I think you can more or less deduce that the rig is somewhere about 4-6 weeks away.

Anyway it's in Tunisia. About 4 -6 weeks away.

Every message board has one. First thing I did when I bought some ECR shares and reviewed this message board was filter that one.

LTEL and Spks may be sharing the same computer. Not very objective or demonstrating any understanding of the nature and purpose of this company.

88e has secured permission to explore / drill on said land. They are an exploration company so it's exactly what they should be doing regardless of how the current project advances. Exploration companies will disappoint until they don't - that's the nature of this, all of the companies that have succeeded in this industry likely had many failures along the way. Anyone who doesn't like that risk profile should not invest.

Agree. I like getting an update. Everything sounds quite active so I'm encouraged overall.

I filtered a couple of posters today. jemgee went straight in the bin. If you just have a negative view but don't back it up with anything meaningful..... yawn.

Botham. A little bit disappointing I agree but isn't the Chinese side just one of the prospective opportunities here? I'll wait and see. I do think we are undervalued and it's up to the BOD to realise that value. I was pleased we got an update and it seems to me they are very actively engaged. This update tells me that we will get regular updates at least.

Who knows. The well won't be flow tested until the 2023/24 season. So this is certainly an accumulation phase if you believe the SP will go up for that.

There may be some impact from this:

We should get an RNS to tell how that went and confirming the well has been safely capped etc.

But ultimately the market knows flow testing is later and that's what will really prove whether we have a commercial discovery.

Very frustrating that the interview is now missing from Proactive but the market seems to not see 'offers'.

Very hard to tell if these are buys or sells. More again just now. Good to see volume though. Spread has tightened up. Bid up, so MM’s trying harder to get sells.

The answer to all of this is that the flow testing will demonstrate whether or not we have a commercial well. Simples.

Yes there are all sorts of obstacles to that and some of the potential issues can be cited. But in fact you do not know. Trust me when I say that if it was known that the Hickory 1 well will not be commercial we would all know right now.

Also , if we were flow testing right now, the SP would be far more interesting today. This play was immediately bumped into next year when 88e told us all that flow testing would be next year (I do t think this year is likely and certainly outcomes from that next year but could be early next year - I’m speculating about ‘when’). My money will sit with this and I was fortunate to invest at a good price relative to the SP in this investment cycle. So for me it’s hold and maybe accumulate. Has to be money I can afford to lose of course and has to be invested at lower price than I started. But that’s what’s happening because there is always more jam today liquidity in AIM than long term investment.
