That is probably how monecor got out.

So our big seller may be gone? Don't be surprised to see those funds turn up in GE (I'm laughing as I write that but.....)

I wonder ifthe positive news we have had over the last 6 months will now get a chance to impact the SP?

RNS - Monecor down to 3.5%. Obvious the larger sells has been them this week. Probably entirely out today.

Don't disagree that an alternative to dilution would be great. But what do you suggest if that isn't possible?

Its the how and when of MSMN doing the 2023 drill identified in this weeks RNS that is the pivot here. They need to tell us how they will fund that. I reckon we will know before the production update. Might they use production revenue to fund the next drill?

If MSMN say they don't need to raise funds for that drill through dilution we could get a pleasant rise in the SP.

But yes the production report could make some difference too.

New technology as far as Wishbone is concerned. They confirmed a mineralised system and wanted to better target drills. Is that hard to understand?

There will be another set of drills. Looks as promising as any other gold prospect company as we stand here right now. Maybe more so.

It's another method of improving targeted drilling for this prospect. Better data = more chance of success.

I expect we will get an RNS soon. There was a fair bit in the pipe in terms of whats to come this year. Quiet doesn't mean nothing coming.

It's high risk just as all of the other gold exploration companies are but the SP is silly low now.

Well basically I heard that we are close to signing a rig contract. Lorna can't talk about that in detail obvs but clearly that news is coming.

Yes my thinking is that a drill announcement is likely before the PSC expires. Obviously doors open for offers too. Announcing a drill keeps this in the shop window, further proving out the assets.

They could of course extend PSC beyond June.

I think announcement of drill will see this SP above previous high.

Obviously a JV or sale could beat that.

I think we tend to misunderstand what a good CPR does for market sentiment. There are many more potential investors for BOIL on the back of that. Timing wise market knows that additional news was not likely immediately hence the SP has fallen Looks to be stable now around .16. Any news that describes clearly how BOIL will monetise the 'potential' assets will see a big lift in SP from here.

Obviously anything can happen any day and the likelihood of news coming just increases day on day. Sentiment will return.

Just rumour of news/market thinking news is imminent will be enough to get this back to .24

Which is why any news that demonstrates that this potential will be monetised will see the SP fly.

So drill/JV/Sale. Any of those or combination needed. Or even rumour of.

The SP fell because with the CPR news out - the next news cycle hasn't started. I think stick with it and accumulate. It may even fall to 12p again but ultimately once the market senses next news cycle is in play - the SP will go up above the previous spike again. Expect BOIL to announce drill plan for Chudicth and Dunrobin, It's all about getting these assets in the shop window and if they have to drill to further prove potential then that is all good (and increases sale value).

Of course a JV or sale could be announced at any moment and then you are glad you stayed in! Also don't forget that selling shares doesn't mean selling all of your shares - so we will have seen a lot of holders selling a chunk and retaining a chunk over the last week.

We all feel flat after a SP fall like this but it's better to expect it and shrug it off. A lot of folks who sold yesterday did so because there is little to no chance of next news landing immediately, so can come back later and they will.

It's literally a regulatory requirement to announce the number of shares in issue occasionally so that investors can calculate if they have crossed a regulatory threshold and might need to issue an RNS to announce the fact.

Certainly after a day like today that it is more likely than usual that thresholds may have been crossed.
