It seems to me that if the drill LOI was no longer in place then we would know about that next day. Contracts do take time to finalise, there is no such thing as simple in this context.

Worst case it falls through and we find out about that. It seems unlikely to me and I would even suggest that DM was a bit unlucky to not get a contract through with the previous drill company. Stuff happens.

I expect that the issue tied into the Noble process and LB not wanting to provide piecemeal updates along the way. Both parties seem keen to avoid talking about each others interests and rightly so.

Can we expect a clear succinct RNS describing the outcomes of the Corporate Review across all of the scope....?

Thanks Botham. Got that. My point is that whilst we know that they are working on s strategic forward plan that could include JV partners, that the tweet this morning seemed to more pointedly be aligned to this actually happening.

Felt like news dried up after the announcement to split the company but now I'm anticipating more news re JV partner in the short term.

Tweet from MSMN just now seems to suggest 'Joint Venture' partners for drilling the new lease as if they are a known quantity.

Don't we as shareholders in MSMN already own the assets that will become a separate company? Spinning off these assets into a new legal entity is complex but ultimately we can expect to receive fair value equivalence in the event of a separation.

Reflecting on today, and i half agree with Casper here. It seemed to me that funding by a means other than dilution was being considered for the oil assets as part of the corporate review. Not a given but there seems to be enough evidence of oil in the ground together with the actual oil in production to forward think that and perhaps it's attractive enough for a JV or something else.

The new Helium company. I think MSMN shareholders will get shares in that as I don't see how JB can state it's good for shareholders if that doesn't t happen. But it could also mean that we get to take part in a placing for that...... with all of the risk of buying what may seem like cheap placing shares for an unproven asset.

So JB may be looking to JV the oil assets and totally different approach for the Helium and perhaps the reason to list the helium company separately is that they need to fund that in a different way. Of course it's one thing to want a JV and another to get that over the line with an interested party.

Plenty happening and I still reflect on the low market cap and wonder what the medium to long term prospects are considering that.

Overall I just assume that funding will be required and that dilution of my investment is likely. This I apply to any AIM investment. It is the reason why companies float on AIM - access to funding.

This is a funding cycle and I'm happy to accumulate if the price is right. Obviously I hope for a profit event within the cycle but I know it requires at least some luck and is guaranteed. So it's money I can afford to lose that might become money it's nice to have.

This is why the vast majority of my investments is in unit trusts. This is a shot at nothing in snooker terms but it does seem to me to be undervalued. Unlocking that value is the current active step in this funding cycle.

So 'the market' is still waiting for a conclusion of the corporate review. This is an interim update - yes a decision has been made and so it had to be communicated.

Full review outcomes must include funding plan and it's not just about the helium play but the oil opportunities in the more proven fields.

When we get an RNS like the one today you have to ask the 'so what' question. Much of the recent investment in MSMN has been on the basis that some exciting news is due almost immediately. What we have if big news that won't get executed until Q4 - so a lot of the crowd will move to something else for now.

Future is strong IMHO and we will have more news quite frequently over the next period.

They have to issue shares in the new company to MSMN shareholders otherwise he cannot have stated that this new move would be the best way to increase value for shareholders.

Exactly! The main point being that there is no value currently in the SP for the helium assets. It's going to take patience but how often do you get to invest in something like that before any value is recognised.

Good RNS. Strategy starting to emerge. Bit jam tomorrow for those who were looking for immediate value. I'm thinking how do I fit the current company + a helium company into the current market cap - can't.

For me. If the corporate review can convincingly provide a path towards realisation of greater value the market cap/share price should follow.

Well it's misleading to suggest they have finished with Creswick. The RNS is telling us that they are awaiting the assay results so they can now move the operational activity somewhere else instead of standing around looking at the holes while they wait.

Obviously what happens next at Creswick depends on the assay results.
