I offer my fellow investors an apology. I took fright last Thursday morning and pressed the sell all button. I think that caused the share price to fall. The board cannot continue to maintain a silence, I will not buy back until I hear from them as to the current supply chain position and the progress in trying to convince the CMA to accept the sale of Findel Education. I think that our buyer is still in a position to withdraw from the purchase so that too needs clarifying.

I’m sure there are many FTSE 100 constituents that have broken through support levels FRTEB, given the ferocity of the sell off since the 21st February. What must the RR share price increase to, to break back above the long term support level ?

If you believe in a company and are happy with its fundamentals, the best time to buy is when all around are selling. It is impossible to correctly guess the peeks and troughs but rest assured that when this sell off peters out there will be some very attractive investment opportunities, one of which will be this company.

The final results were better than we were led to believe in November but it doesn’t look like the market is convinced of the bullish comments from Mr East. The stock markets both here and in the USA appear to be staging a recovery of sorts so it is disappointing to see RR slipping nearly 4.5 per cent today against a back drop of a rising wider market wiping out all of the gains made yesterday. Talk of a doubling in share price or ‘see you when it hits £10’ are quite clearly inaccurate at this time.

I’m not sure that our buyer can change the terms of the deal as I believe they have entered into a conditional contract which has been approved by shareholders. The rejection by the CMA however would allow the buyer a route out. I don’t think the Corona virus situation on its own can affect the deal.

I think you are right in saying that our price is being dragged down by the wider market, indeed we are almost back at pre half year report/Findel Education sale value.

I really hope we see an end to this wretched disease in the short term but the WHO and world governments in general all seem pretty gloomy about it at the moment.

I agree Ejackson, oversold if the CMA allow the Findel Education transaction to proceed. It looks to me however that the market is pricing in for a rejection and bad news about our Chinese suppliers. Bid price now under 200 pence.

Interesting statement from the chief executive of Rolls Royce today. He is saying that during the recent disruption in China the company used existing inventory to continue manufacturing but that Chinese suppliers for the company were all now back up and running again. I hope that is an indication that the worst is now over in China.

Yes I also believe that there will be problems with obtaining stock from China but I am hoping the negative impact of this will be offset by the declaration that the conditions associated with the sale of Findel Education have been satisfied.

Our esteemed co investor has an uncanny ability to judge the right moments to buy shares in STU and the right moments to sell. I take my hat off to you. Could you let me know please when we can next expect an uplift.

You can’t say that Arsenal17, Grayling will accuse you of being irrational. Not a good time to be releasing final results. I recall a similar correction in the markets at this time two years ago.

I was going to post, another day with no news, another holder losing confidence. Pleased to hear you are still positive 1GW_. I would be surprised if we were not to hear any more news until final results day but it is quite possible.

Thank you for that Ejackson. The approval by the (UK)CMA of the Findel Education sale is far from a mere formality as JD Sports recently found out to their cost following their purchase of Footasylum. I really do think we need to hear from the board as to the operational status of our Chinese suppliers.

I am concerned that the availability of our product range could be adversely affected by the Corona Virus which we are told is causing vast numbers of manufacturing plants to close in China. We could benefit from an update on the status of our suppliers.

I am also concerned that the UKCMA has not approved the sale of Findel Education. No news is not always good news, although the share price is still holding firm at the moment.

I love Pets At Home. The vet (genius) at Pets at Home saved my little cat after she was hit by a car two years ago. It would be a fair guess to say that Mr Burke is an animal friendly human being which is good by me.

Today the market cap of Studio PLC is £215m according to LSE while the market cap of N Brown PLC dropped to £214m.

A major concern for us all is the possibility that the UKCMA could refuse to approve the sale of Findel Education. That would send the share price significantly lower and back into the jaws of the Komodo Dragon (MA).

There is no doubt that the company is awaiting the approval of the UK Competitions and Markets Authority (UKCMA) of the Findel Education sale before releasing third quarter performance figures. If the third quarter figures were that good, why wouldn’t you release them regardless of the UKCMA decision.

Steve305, I was not extracting the urine at all, you completely misread my post. I simply asked you why you chose that moment to buy but you did not have the courtesy to respond. I apologise if you took offence but I was looking for a buy signal just like you, and I hadn’t seen one. I sincerely hope you make some money, good luck.
