Well said Fordm. Bobbins2 is our best poster of the year but this poster is by far and away the worst. I’ve not read the most recent post but I would guess it is the same critical unnecessary drivel as always. Best filtered.

RE: Looks like19 Apr 2024 15:38
Looks like we are headed for a finish of roughly 169 - up about 7p on the week. Given what a torrid week it has been, I'll take that - on Tuesday i thought we were heading back into the 140's. Looks like (for now) both Iran and Israel are declaring a draw, and spinning it as a victory in their respective countries. Lord knows what will happen in the longer term - the whole area is a tinderbox (for you young ones, that has nothing to do with online dating). Hopefully things will calm down long enough for us to return to the 180''s, at which point many people here (including myself) will be tempted to at least partially sell up, before the next crisis hits - with this share we all know the next potential disaster is never far away.
Anyway, I am now heading off for my own personal "de-escalation" - a.k.a. going to the pub. Not a Dom Perignon week, but as we were staring down the barrel a couple of days ago, I think a couple of Moretti's and some chilli nuts are well deserved. Let's see what next week brings. Have a nice weekend, and if you can't be good, don't get caught!
Drum roll……………………………………
I am pleased to announce that the winner of the coveted and much sought after LSE IAG Discussion Board Post of the Year goes to………………………………………………
Bobbins2 for the contribution on the 19th April at 15.38 that attracted an unmatched 21 recommendations. In addition to this we have now all become accustomed to the legendary post pub Friday night rants that will forever mark Bobbins2 out as the genius wordsmith that he so clearly is. Step forward Bobbins2. More drum rolls……
Bobbins2, I filtered DarrenRobinson some weeks ago. Tap on the name and read all of the posts together. Nothing but complete critisism of every poster on this discussion board. As I can’t read the posts anymore my guess is there is a pledge never to post or read the ‘garbage’ on this discussion board ever again and we are all a load of brainless investors. The old adage ‘it takes one to know one’ would seem appropriate. Disgusting with a c ? Really ? Surely no one is that low in spelling ability ?
Darren Robinson, I am not in the slightest bit interested in your hopeless effort to invest in shares. Having read all your previous posts, the underlying theme is your view that what everyone else posts is rubbish. Well, I could not find a single piece of information in all of your posts about IAG, so I suggest to you sir that you are the one most responsible for posting absolutely nothing of interest. I therefore nominate you as the Worst Poster of the Year ! I was rather hoping that your goodbye on the 17th March was your last post but clearly not. I shall filter your rubbish as necessary. Goodbye !!
I agree with you to a large degree but what really concerns me is what Putin has planned next given that he now believes his country has given him the mandate to continue in power and the recent atrocity in Moscow. Will he use that awful event to escalate his war on Ukraine to another level ? Nuclear even ?

154.425 pence is the current two hundred day moving average. We are struggling to break above this level. With the two shorter funds holding and increasing their positions, there appears to be nothing stopping our price from sliding back again, just the same as 2023. The chief executive really needs to step down to make way for a new direction.
I feel your immense power Brother Bobbins2, immerse the sinning soul of IAG in the holy water of God and cleanse the wrongs of all the apostles and followers (shareholders). Give us the strength to reach 200 pence by the weekend and heal our wounds !
