Regarding Brexit benefits -- since Brexit officially began in 2020, the UK has been the fastest-growing G7 economy in the whole world for 2 of the past 3 years, and the fastest-growing GDP for the past 2 years in a row, outperforming easily all its major rivals worldwide. What's more, UK unemployment is near an all-time low, while UK EU exports sit around a record high. Finally, don't forget Ukraine, where the UK is now the 2nd most powerful player after the US in the whole world. Financially, micro-economically, politically, Brexit is starting to soar.

It's time to ignore the bitter doom-loop Remainers who lost and are trying to overturn the biggest democratic free vote for the people in UK history. Brexit won. The people won. Time to get on with making Britain great again.

To be fair, the UK car, van and truck industry has been in sharp decline for 60 years. UK global production share peaked in 1963. When The Beatles first started to excite your granny.

From gifting free intellectual property to Japanese rivals in the 1950s, to gifting free 4x4 technology to German rivals in the 1990s, to the anti-business oppressive-tax pseudo-Marxist state that's spreading in the 2020s, we've got a (very long) history of self-inflicted decline.

There's a reason why the CBX share price has collapsed and plunged an astonishing -97% in just ~2 years. And it's not because they "don't have enough adverts". They also have a rubbish website, rubbish reseller site, rubbish retail, rubbish e-tail, rubbish marketing, rubbish branding, rubbish logistics, rubbish inventory control, rubbish cost control, rubbish pricing, and rubbish strategic product "fit". It is going to take years to turn it around here, if ever.

The decisive break below 150p here is a bearish sign. Momentum headed in the wrong direction. Falling in a rising market. Wouldn't be a surprise to see this back near 100p by 2024.

Toyed with buying a new Aston back at Xmas. But most models, like the Vantage, lose £10-20k every few months. They are a hard buy, whether new or used.

A neighbour's company has just started offering free lunch Tues to Thurs, if you arrive before 9am and leave after 5pm, and free wine tasting on Fri evening after work. Office attendance is up +100% in a month.

The US debt ceiling is just political theatre. They will raise it again -- like the previous 90 times. The US has plenty of scope to add another $5-10 trillion of debt. It won't be a problem. They will sort it by July.

The population numbers are very clear. Around 1 million net arrivals are entering the UK every 12 months. More than the entire population of Cyprus. One million people will need one million rooms. That trend is (and will) prop up house prices in the future.

Regarding repossessions -- they are largely a thing of the past. UK residential repossessions have plummeted about -80% in the past 10-15 years. Banks now work with mortgagees to keep their homes. And, if it gets too bad for the masses in the future (unlikely), the UK state will just bail everyone out for free and pay their mortgage. No need for repossession hysteria here.

Regarding that housing "prediction" -- do these hysterical doom-loop "forecasts" ever stop!

As always, I confidently predict the UK housing market will not decline in any significant way. Sellers always sit tight. Buyers blink first. A million new buyers and renters are pouring into the UK every few months. House prices will continue trending up for decades to come.

Looks like a natural fit.

It is always interesting to see the disconnect between what small investors think of LLOY and what the wider market thinks.

LLOY is always near-top of the most-popular shares for private investors, Motley Fool has a "buy it now" piece every few days, while Lloyds remains by far the UK's biggest and most-loved mortgage bank, accounting for 1 in 5 of all "new" homes bought in the UK every year.

But, still, the wider stockmarket continues to shun LLOY shares... There is a big "reality gap" there.

Sweden today is quietly inching closer to Swexit. Surveys in France show the population would instantly Frexit if given a democratic vote on it. Greenland did a Greenlexit, got much wealthier, and never looked back.
