As a shareholder for about 4 years I have had to look at the bigger picture, every half year, and in six months there is no discernable progress just a restatement of promises.
With the shape of the P&L (margin, opex) small orders just don't cut it - there needs to be a radical uptick to take this to a 30m plus company to get shareholder returns.

I have to disagree with you here.
I am much happier that they are conservative with their communication and over deliver. With time from initial engagement through to order and meaningful revenue being long, and the ability for timescales to slip I think caution is the best approach.
I am a shareholder in Kromek were I feel the board are incompetent and financially / commercially illiterate. Yet they constantly talk up what they are doing and constantly fail.
As with all AIM companies I believe there should be a set timetable of updates so that shareholders know when and the format of the update, for enet this should be quarterly - and then rns for key deals.

On AROC this is not just a change in STs view, it is a change in the company's communication from their annual report.
This is a very key change as it means contractual invoicing milestones have been meet rather than not being invoicable, therefore the customer is not following the contract rather than kromek being aggressive on revenue recognition?
Also the "will be reversed shortly" from a year ago from the company, and spouted by ST, is false.

Unfortunately with kromek I do tend to look past the forward positives, as we have seen in the past they have not grasped the opportunities for commercial and financial gain.
As I have said before there is so much opportunity here, but not sure this BOD will deliver.

The company has received 5 orders for less than £1m, some of which are rolling and not incremental. The company needs c 25m revenue for breakeven, ignore ebitda as it is just a cash proxy.
I don't know any company that will call out an $86k order ?

As usual a little light on detail but the headline numbers are impressive.
With summer should see the new offerings hit their stride for an impressive q2 yoy growth.

I seemed to have touched a nerve, but not sure what you're getting annoyed at, simply repeating what you have stated over a period of time which has been constantly and consistently incorrect. When you state something now I look back to see how accurate you have been in the past as a good indicator whether it will be accurate now.

We already have ST in the IC providing a write up over 3/4 years every six months and conveniently forgetting what he has written a few short months ago.

We are way past this being seen as some hippy stuff, the only issues will be is how big the market will get and over what time period, and how opti is positioned to take advantage.

Anybody aware of the basis of allocation. Is it a standard allocation % whatever has been requested, or a sliding scale where smaller allocations are met at a higher % or in full?

The reason KMK share price is where it is is because the CEO is great at promising, but completely and absolutely hopeless in delivering, constant and consistent failure.
DEC went bust through arrogance and treating their customers with contempt, nothing to do with marketing.

As always patience is the keyword with OPTI, I think takes a certain type of shareholder to sit and hold.
Of all the shares I have this one has the most scalable business model, good to have a steady increase in contracts and scaling of these contracts with added spice of a massive breakthrough deal plus skin on top.

Glad you have stayed on the conservative side in both timescales and values, I do think you need to update your margin /revenue / valuation table with higher revenues (or lower revenues higher margin depending on contract model) to provide a higher upside valuation range.
Although I always thought there was undiscovered value in enet I did think Tracy's price estimate fanciful, but do not now.
I believe patient investors for a further 3 years will be handsomely rewarded with an eventual buyout, with a few 50% plus days and the usual shakeouts. I previously had a minimum hold period of 2 years, I think 3 is now more likely.
Looking forward to positive news flow in h2 and beyond.

Very much in agreement with you uhlf. There should, and should have been, far more disclosure of this arrangement with a faceless, post office box delaware company - this includes any side agreements on sales over and above the rns release.
If they are a customer who have inside information on the business they will put through ENET it is effectively a risk free investment as enet was priced to go bust, and still is really. If it is individuals associated with the customer further questions need to be asked.
Without information we are all getting into conspiracy theory territory (those of you of a certain age will remember the Guinness affair about arrangements with shareholders), as shareholders who have supported the company I don't think it's too much to ask.

Dan, by amateur I mean I don't work for an investment company, I am a qualified accountant working as an emea fd in the tech sector.
There is some much good free advice out there on balanced / adventurous etc portfolios I am not going to pay a financial advisor a few percent of my 1m to pay for his bmw, I would only ever pay for tax advice. Massive believer in investment trusts to provide a geographic and sector spread, with a few convictions shares here and there including, unfortunately, vodafone.
