Any comparison with Taiwan semi makes zero sense whatsoever, in both scale and what is actually being done.
There would be 10 x more complexity and sophistication in a modern car plant than what is required here.
Having said that, Enet should subcontract as even the largest "brand" names do, they appear to have enough on their plate without David / Mark et c mucking about with the operations of an assembly line.

Spin, yes - small shareholders on AIM, without institutions holding the company to account, are treated rather shabbily to say the least.
A big fan of the way don has run the company in recent years, but this is a big investment on the side where the results will not become apparent for sometime, although there is a decent interest rate.
Although a lth I can see the share price going nowhere for 12 months, even with what I can see will be strong underlying earnings.
Despite all the confirmations on related party transactions, we are now deeply embedded and reliant on Grain.
I think it then comes down to whether we trust the business acumen of Don and Grain.

This is not a chip factory with, as you say associated costs, it's an assembly line with admittedly high levels of quality control but on a completely different level.
This is not cutting edge stuff, more operational / logistical / purchasing issues due to, the hoped for, quantities.

No rns, nothing on their investor relations site so did a Google search - where did you pick this up from?
Still a lot of unanswered questions, even basics such as what proportion we get on conversion as a minority shareholder with no real power in the new venture, which is controlled by a distil dominant minority shareholder.

I can see a case for this being a good short and long term buy. The key on a long term buy will be the influence of the chairman and cfo in keeping the ceo away from commercial / financials / operations / marketing decision making - basically anything other than the science.
I do think there is short term limited downside / good upside - so a good reward / risk bet. It may be one, as with ventilators, to sell on order and promises rather than wait for the p&l impact.

I very much respect elrics commentary when I get hold of it but refuse to pay for something the CEO should be telling us direct (although with elrics knowledge he does ask the right questions).
Anyone who listen to twin petes knows elric does with a lot of the subs he gets.

They should outsource.
- Time to market and scale
- Not their expertise
- Low working cap requirement
- Focus on IP and high margin

A lot of issues here.

Firstly the business case. We have no idea of the expected timing of returns, the shareholding we have in the venture, will this be used to supply distil etc. A pathetic couple of lines is not acceptable. This should go to shareholders to approval.

Second communication and integrity.
Assume the board has the right to issue shares ?
Why no rns?
Related party disclosure ?
Details of share subscription available to general shareholders ?

With all last companies without key institutional shareholders a dominant minority shareholder and board can start using the company to their own advantage, rather than shareholders as a whole.
We need detail here.

It's not a binary issue here. The underlying base business should be worth in excess of 30p if it has been well run, this is about where the share price was three years ago but still well down on the float price. Then on top the possibilities of detectors.

Please take care of what ST says - he simply fails to ask the right questions, fails to understand details and relies on paid for house broker write ups without question (which in themselves just follow want the board has said, please read the comments in the report early this year on no needing cash to reverse within weeks). Please note the six monthly ST bounce after a write up has become less pronounced and soon reverts to a norm.

I have had an "akers" watch list for sometime now but haven't bit the bullet on any of them even as a very small risk element of a portfolio.
Would really like to see a relist, I cannot see how they can do this without it.

Always going to be ups and downs with a company worth, checks notes, £23m between the newsflow. A good excuse to add a few more as nothing has changed.

I haven't seen any timescale for an aaa relisting, as well boom they have so much else happening it is difficult to assess what the price is when they do relist. Until then we are all guessing.

At these prices adding again yesterday and today, best time to buy in these lulls. After share issues would be nice to get back to a round 1%, need the price to stay down at these levels a couple of months though.
I do find the market strange, even in the short term we are 99% sure of an rns shortly and still not priced in.

Decent numbers reported, but as usual need more detail (renewals vs additive business etc), but arr still growing nicely. No forward view for H2. Good to see juniper relationship still performing.
The question then becomes why has the company been poor / Completely non existent with investor communications ? Really would like to see an investor meet set up for both numbers and a more strategic update.

Seems most here have seen though this, the 80p valuation on a non trading stock is simply bonkers.

Firstly interesting to read the posters on the AAA board. No one appears to know what has been going on with this company for months, but it looks like the company doesn't care. I wouldn't like to be be a shareholder, not only boom but options on a load of other stuff which is hard to value.
The £12 stated assumes a great deal with an 80p share price, which as another poster said is fanciful.

Really disappointed after doing such a great operational job the BOD are mucking about with this, unless they have a cunning plan we are not aware of.

Not sure about this one, seems the market reaction agrees.

So a company provides minimal cash, gets up to its chin in debt and then gives shares in the debt ridden company. A bit of a circular, artificial deal.
Nothing on how boom will be run within the larger group.

A couple of points from me.
1. We did not know about tarana and du about six months ago, enet is very good about keeping deals with multi million £ annual revenues tight within the company, this shows great governance and professionalism and gives me great confidence when we don't have rnss.
2. In addition to tracys list I am sure they are working at early stages with customers we are simply not aware of.

I do worry a little that enet are stretching themselves a little thin, primarily because is hard to believe a company with so few employees is active on so many fronts. I can imagine enet is great, but challenging, place to work with an incredible buzz.

Interesting that corero did not either do a news release or rns on their Plusnet deal in germany.
Juniper did, and it must be a much smaller piece of business for them comparatively.
