Don’t understand today’s positive uptick here whilst IG are -8% on data which surely must be effecting Plus. So many times Plus has fallen for inexplicable reasons then on a day when really they should follow IG’s trend they go the other way. Why?

I think this could lead to -31% profit for the year which takes EPS to 43p. Just about enough to cover the duck and a P/E of 12-13. Depends if you think that this is a one off bad year or the new normal as to whether you would buy in.

Will see.... if this goes anywhere near 500 I will buy but probably will stick with holding at this price.

Still leaves the question of how did so many seem to know in advance given drop yesterday?

Brutal. Any institutions who sold large qtys today should be investigated assuming news tomo is bad.

That said, how bad can it be? Last update they committed to holding the divi. If this falls much lower that will make this 8% which you would expect to see on a distressed share which given the balance sheets and lack of net debt this is certainly not so whilst frustrating to see a paper loss this becomes a massive buy if we get to an 8% yield.

Of course, unless the leak is that divi is being cut in which case provides a bigger case for investigating today’s drop.

Well I can’t wait until 4.30. I have had -2% off my entire ISA today (perhaps an indication that I am not diversified enough). Has led to some great buying opportunities if I actually had any funds to use...

I’m in IGG which has lost 5% today with an update due out tomorrow.... does anyone seriously believe that whether correct or incorrect someone hasn’t leaked something for that to happen?

I agree with you Tom - The "horror" stories don't seem that horrific and more to the point customers along with their solicitors get a chance to review terms of the lease/freehold before signing on completion.

That said I could easily argue the same for PPI I always refused PPI when I took out loans and whilst you sometimes had to be quite thick skinned in saying "no" repetitively whilst the bank tried to sell add ons it was possible and therefore not sure why the masses have been able to claim back money ever since.

So whilst I don't sympathise with the home owners it doesn't stop you wondering if this could become the next political football for the government to gain popularity by sticking up for the "man".

Luckily I think the government still have their hands full for them to engage with any current issues taking place in the country that they "govern".

Looked like only 0.2% closed yesterday and we got a 3% uptick...

3% up again today.... Lets home off the back of another small short closing. I know its not as simple as this but to get 3% increase for every 0.2% short that closes could see us all retiring early :)

Why is the RNS not on here btw. Also was not on the HL app at 7.35. I had to google it. Pretty unreliable and worrying if you didn’t know you needed to go and find it.

I expect this will either stay static or fall a little further. If it rises then I would be very interested to know what was in results that people weren’t expecting yesterday when price fell?

If this gets anywhere mid 70s then I will definitely find some funds to buy back in. Don’t see a reason for it falling that far though except my limited experience of this share is it is erratic at the best of times.
