I'm pretty confident the stock is being traded at the same time and the way its being done is illegal. I watched the same patterns in Debenhams forming here. Of course im not saying metro bank would ever have the same outcome as a business, but they are using the same device to make money

I don't believe there will be any rns. look back at the patterns of Debenhams once the short sellers got control. odey will keep doing this until the rights issue and journalists will keep writing articles with no substance to feed the machine

on the greed front I made a small fortune out of Odeys shorting of Debenhams. can see the same pattern developing. Will keep rinsing and repeat with an 8% profit each time

think there might be a short bounce coming before a drop in a couple of days. Day traded on a lot of Odey's short stocks and its the pattern

lets try and get to 500p today, will trigger a series of buys for me

personally seer I think you made a mistake selling but we all have to go with what we think is best.

I have a simple logic on this one: the large investors are not going to invest in this unless they get a good return. I want some of that profit too so bring on the drop to 500 and lets get this done

my only concern with this share now is when to buy a large chunk next before the RI is issued

Ive been buying in and out of this share so no it hasn't cost me anything like that, but with an average below 600 it would be stupidity to sell and miss out on the RI. Im also pleased im holding a minor stake just to read the sheer level of abuse between the shorters and holders on here!

there's no chance private investors will get a sniff at this deal. Its probably vernons wife that's the institutional investor. a large institutional investor will buy this shares at a giveaway price and suddenly the tide will change over a few months and the rich get richer as usual. the best chance will be to buy on the open market the day after

bottom line is if someone is investing a large chunk in this company they are going to want a big discount over the average punter, which will be way below the current SP, but they will also want to make a shed load of so the sp will soon rocket again
