Whilst I’m excited by hole 5 I don’t think the sp is going to go much higher without some assay results. Even if hole 5 finishes with 1000m of mineralisation the key is how much copper/gold is in there. I’d prefer to see some decent assay results before hole 5 finishes for real fireworks as then it feels like all the drilling through mineralisation is worthwhile. I think CB was told to reign it in on the promotion until we get some factual grades in so we can properly start valuing this.

Some of the excellent calculations on value done on here give you an idea of what we’re after. Anything above .25% Cu over the length of the core mineralisation would be ok. If we get any gold or anything close to the historical .44% Cu then we will fly. Those results shared aren’t great as they only have a high % Cu over a couple of meters

Well we’re sure to get an interview post hole 5 RNS so should get another status update then. Will sound a bit silly to say ‘not far away’ again when he said that last time with no news in between. As you say some substance to exactly where we are would be useful

You have some decent picks there to be honest (excluding SYME as I haven’t looked into it at all). Granted your purchase prices don’t look great today however you could be pleasantly surprised if you sat on your hands and came back to them in a few years time. To realise any meaningful sp appreciation I have found holding for on average 3 years gives good results

I think it all depends on the Cu-Ag assay grades. If anywhere near the 0.44 Cu suggested then I can see double that figure. 20p might be a more sensible assumption to make until we know

To my very little knowledge those figures seem underwhelming. What would be the total Cu equivalent grades on those results? I notice you refer to Boda as an Gold-copper porphyry. I believe Racecourse is a Copper-gold porphyry. Does this have much bearing on the potential results? I read in the recent RNSs that it is believed Racecourse is similar to Boda. They also suggested .44 Cu grades from previous work. The XRF results seemed to support this. That all sounds better to me but I guess the sp is where it is due to the unknown assy grades as this point in time

It’s refreshing to not want to see an RNS on a holding. Most shares you wait months for the big one to drop yet here it’s the opposite. No news on hole 5 before the end of next week please

Agreed. The sp will go up and down it’s what it does. Different types of investors and traders and different strategies. We should see lots of selling from those in at 1-2p. The key is now the assy results. How much Cu and is there any gold. The sp predictions all hinge on this data. Let’s see where we are at the end of April

The recent drop and lack of rise is due to the social issues in the local community rearing its head again. Investors are clearly weary of production being interrupted again. The oil price can rise to wherever it wants but if they stop production they are not generating any revenue. Really hard to judge the situation in the ground through the limited reporting available. If this is just rumblings and the work PTAL are doing with the community helps then the sp will rerate as the situation improves. Due to the lack of info it feels a bit binary now as could go either way?

Maybe they just issue the RNS when ready to do so ie have some news and have written it up. I think it’s the timing of the RNSs is irrelevant. Take a step back and look at the big picture. Big investors will be talking to the company directly

I think any weakness in the sp towards 30 gets bought up so could stay at this level. As a holder I’m not going to sell now to try and get a few pence lower. Trying to get the timing right with the usual spread means there could be little benefit. I’m usually wrong so will buy more if the opportunity arises at lower prices

I think I remember Tony saying the aim is a billion dollar company. That would be a share price of just over 50p. We all the proceeds from the latest deal dilution should be far less so a feasible target in the long term

Good update. Process being worked as I expected. That actually means it could land in the next 3 weeks given what they have just guided

They literally have to through and sign hundreds of pages of legal documents. All have to be drafted and reviewed by the lawyers first and then both sides need to sign. Easy to see how Covid can slow this up and not as easy as locking teams away in a room for a week to get it done quickly anymore. Frustrating but that’s the process and it’s necessary when signing deals worth hundreds of millions

Looks like some movement in the sp again with a breakout. Would be great to see 6p+ ahead of the SPA announcement

Whilst the rising copper price is fantastic for the long term I don’t think it will have much affect on the sp short term as next payments for the SPA and PT WIN IPO are fixed. However if the copper price is strong when PT WIN lists at the end of Q1 2021 then this should have a direct impact on ARS sp given the 22.5% stake. We just need to see the deal progress now to realise fair value

SP went to 1p during the market correction in March and has been recovering since based on the true value of assets now highlighted by the latest deal. It should easily double from here given the value of the deal but it seems the market wants to see cash in the bank first

We’ve has a couple of placings since then for approx. 150m shares which is about +15% in total so some small dilution however copper price is higher now than it was then although it did touch just over $3.4 that year. Looking good to retest those highs if the economies remain stable with steady recovery/growth and copper price continues rising

Wouldn’t surprise me to see a retest of support at 3.8p. This will either rise in anticipation of the deal SPA into Nov or hover around the support and then jump up on announcement of it completing. I’m not fussed either way as the value will still be realised however we get there (assuming no issues with the DD of course)
