I think someone needs to understand that not every 'hospital' can take covid patients, largely because not every facility classed as a hospital has ICU facilities. Not only that, covid patients can't be accommodated with non covid patients for obvious reasons so you're effectively doubling ICU and acute staffing requirements. Whilst admittedly covid admittance is well down on early 2021, there's the small issue of trying to treat everything that was put on hold at that time when the NHS was solely focussed on covid. The NHS is under acute strain still. Or perhaps the people in charge of it are just lying.
To be fair they'll have only given q1 to quantify the DHSC impact. In all their years of trading they've never given quarterly updates.
If they fail to do the estimated 100m after reiterating it no less than 4 times then we should be demanding resignations if they aren't already in the accompanying RNS. The chairman's position at the very least would be completely untenable. That said, who'd notice if he went in any case, his performance at the AGM was diabolical. Imagine having to use a crib sheet for the new CEO, inept.
Why would they delay its launch for a webinar? One of many webinars that they've done where NCYT is never even discussed or promoted.
They've just done a huge trade show, that was the time to launch. It's late, end of.
They rnsd that it was to be launched in October (30 September RNS), considering the monumental f@ck ups this management have put shareholders through in 2021 you would think they'd at least try and nail this one but even that is too much to ask.
It's entirely fair to ask IR where coprep is, it was scheduled for launch in October. This is the 3rd significant product launch that has gone west in the last 12 months, this is a failure of management to manage expectations and when your sp is down over 80% ytd then you'd better make damn sure you meet those expectations. They're getting away with this because there's no one invested with enough clout to hold them to account.
They should never have been given such an easy ride at the AGM.
Pretty much sums it up, I've never come across a company so hell bent on shooting itself in the foot with every communication when it has so much potential. We are being treated like a cash shell or R&D pharma burning through its cash pile when exactly the opposite is true.
I get that DA needs time but surely he's formed some sort of vision for the future direction of the company in the 4 months since he was offered the job. I'll assume some sort of interview took place where he was asked what he would bring to the party and how he would develop the business.
Look at our valuation compared to our peers, if the board aren't taking the hint then I don't know what will get it through to them short of a PI revolt.
We beat them to it by a year, and at a fraction of the R&D cost. Our PR is a joke.
1 m tests donated to UNICEF, not one column inch of press while Randox sponsored the Grand national who a certain MPs and board members wife was on the board of aintree. The litany of sh@t we've received no credit for is astounding.
If it's in the Mail then it's a deliberate leak from Downing St.

Precisely, first couple of days particularly with Delta symptoms are similar to a cold by the time you get round to testing you could be 4 or 5 days symptomatic. These drugs will only be used in a supervised environment such as care homes and those already in acute care.
