I am sure that Capita monitors this site and can see the antisocial behaviour of a few individuals.

Its very clear that the CS has covered up the problems caused by existing staff, Unions and CS management! However there is a time and a place to discuss what has happened. This ain’t it!

Meanwhile they are getting on with the job. They are focussed on the end of year results! So be careful what you ask for. We all know what we want !

like i say capita should be seeking compensation. as all calls to the service are recorded they can do a keyword search.

this is very easy to prove.

i expect heads to roll in the cs once the mess is cleared up. any member if staff engaging in these activities should be sacked! (but won’t)

I have retired from Capita, and don’t have access. Even if I was still employed I would not be able to discuss.

What I do know is public knowledge.

Capita would have Tuped over existing staff I do-not know the numbers. What I do know was that the Union was mixing it before hand about union representation.

A lot of effort went into getting the dashboard right. However the CS did not manage the existing contractor.

It is their responsibility for the mess in the first place.

But then that is what they wanted.

If I was in charge heads would roll after the mess is sorted.

I would expected certain key people in the CS to get the chop but then Labour is in charge!

I am sure that the CS would not like multiple requests for information. Heads could roll!

This is par for the course with the CS. Poor quality of SLA management, understaffed, poor quality of training and senior management who know more about golf than ITSM.

Totally agree rubbish in you get rubbish out. The Capita system has multiple integrations which tie into the existing data. The integration was fully tested as part of December go live, the data was not tested (How could we test that)

Main problem was existing supplier was not managed properly.

If you were expecting honesty from the BBC that is never going to happen! Every news agency has an agenda!

Yip selling off of network services I can see the similarities. they have long term relationships with relevant councils and education authorities. They know the education sector well. Decent company decent services!

I have known the company for about 50 years. Been in the education sector initially hardware and software. Now mostly in services . Good honest company well respected!

Cant help but feel that the CS did not keep their eye on the ball. They were very tight on the Capita dashboard testing, but did not monitor the outbound companies performance. Its like I said the CS cannot manage IT projects for toffee. When these problems are cleared there needs to be some sort of payback!

Yip risk management is a key part if tender response. However the CS have to accept and authorise any additional spend. The customer has to be walked through the journey. This is what Capita is currently doing managing the customer and the problem!
