Really looks as if Capita was booby trapped on this project and the outgoing supplier was less than honest. One must ask how much the unions and Civil Service knew about this!

There is now more staff deployed to clear up the mess.

TV license is a complex resilient design. Its still currently using IBM mainframe technology, but they are gearing up for the future changes. This is why Capita is important, it is unlikely that Capita would loose the contract until all this work is complete. The BBC is gearing up for the digital age. The BBC’s revenue is dependant on this service. The tight integration between the BBC, Capita, and some other third parties is the reason the service is so efficient!

This is quite normal for Capita its what they do best!

BBC announced that it would compare users on the iPayer against licence holders to allow it to pursue additional license fees! This is a value add service which will pay Capita and increase license fees!

The Civil service do not have the skillsets. They do not have the technical skills to run a pension service. Just the typical bull.

Past experience they usually end up with a bigger mess, more staff, Poor SLA’s.

Just remember the last Labour Gov and the large IT projects. Everyone was a failure at huge expense.

I honestly believe that Savage is ex Capita, someone who was probably dismissed from service. There can be no other explanation.

Within LSE, members are not allowed to out people. I am almost certain there are many Capita and ex Capita staff who will know who Savage is.

Truth is time is running out for the gruesome twosome because after March there will be no point anymore. Ignore the idiots green-lane them so that they converse with no one!

You cannot apply for your pension until you have retired. So the BBC bit where he gave 5 months notice is rubbish. Until your finaly salary the pension company does not have the final data and figures. Normally it takes 2-3 months for your first payment. This is made clear to all staff no matter where you work. So if you retire in Dec and expect pension payment in January that is never going to happen. It will be March/April before you receive payment. Fact is everyone knows the truth.

Biggest problem will be HMRC over taxing your income.

Try calling HMRC in January!

Almost 100% However AH was not originally available, it took much negotiations to get him released. Remember he took several members of his team from Amazon, plus other staff from multiple organisations. AH had a plan from the start. He knew who he needed and who he wanted. Also who he did not want. This was all sorted before he joined the company!

This is an important contract. Kent are a reference site for Capita. They have one of the largest Public Service Networks in UK only Scotland (SWAN) is bigger.

I could go on but the opportunities to take fellow councils on such a reference site is huge!
