Capita has a lot of experience managing complex IT projects. Capita also has a lot of experience working with the NHS.

not quite sure on all the services that Atos are delivering and who their partners are, this will need to be roadmapped.

I fully expect that this will disappear from view until these issues are sorted. This is very normal.

I am sure they are talking and will update us when they are ready.

Atos Carve up

The Atos security side will not be sold off as this will be transferred to a french company. That company has already has connections with Mod. (Airbus/ B Aerospace)

NHS will probably go to Capita

Depends upon who the partners are.

Its really outside our control. The UK can force changes on contract but it depends on who the Gov is!

Labour Gov and Outsourcing

Think you are forgetting about Labour and the NHS medical records fiasco. Billions of pounds spend with Companies such as CSC and nothing delivered!

The French Gov offered to buy the security bits delivering services to the French Gov. Atos turned this down afraid that without these bits the rest of the business would collapse!

Guess what is happening!!

French Gov will not save the day for UK Gov. Uk Gov did a costing exercise last year on the NHS piece, wonder why?

Understand your concerns but there are several lessons to be learnt here!

What does value actually mean, some of the current contracts are very tight. Atos is part of the consequence!

Value for money is very different, I believe that there will be several Tiers of preferred contractors who are capable and stable. Capita now sits in this band.

The current share price does not reflect on the true value of the company that needs to change. The public service needs to outsource more to save costs and improve services. I have worked in this area for a long time. The UK needs to invest in public service.

I cannot see how this cannot benefit companies like Capita.

I don’t understand what you expect to happen as technology changes business's change or die! This is part of the growth process.

I really expect Atos to disappear from UK Market. It will survive as a much smaller company (Carve up) with Different bits sold off within France.

The UK contracts may need to be farmed out very quickly to other companies at cost plus a fixed margin to stabilise. Contracts can be retendered later.

Capita would be a shoe- in on a few specific contracts! Some of the Atos contracts are up for renewal. NHS within 2 years not sure on DWP EoC date!

Will certainly add a boost to Margin figures!

Due to the imminent nature the contracts will have to be Cost plus margin!

Only reason Atos survived was its tie in to French Gov!

Capita does have insurance!

No work yet on any payout!

Taking into account the number of data hacks, plus other info, I think there is a good chance of a payout! No idea on the amount though!!

Still waiting on a report from the Security Gods!!

I think the lesson has mostly been learnt however some of the ministers during the Covid period definitely mis behaved.

There are other outsourcing companies with problems at the moment. All down to the same problems!

Looking forward to August when things will be a lot clearer!

Good Synapsis!

The Gov must also shoulder part of the blame caused by aggressive accountants demanding silly prices.

I had this problem with the Post Office in the Nineties. In my case I got up and walked away from the meeting telling them to give me a call when they came to their senses!

Needless to say we did come to agreement but their expectations were silly!

All down to poor management!

Possibility of contracts, However cannot see AH being blown off target. If the Gov wants Capita to take on projects then it will be at a fair price! Capita has walked away from several large projects lately. I cannot see that changing. It’s not Capita’s job to fix the UK’s problems.

As far as people are concerned they will need a few new skill sets and a few existing heads but headcount will remain small.

Yip spot on don't want to say too much, this has been expected. Atos has been reducing headcount for some time, they have also been buying contracts and business’s. A lot of good people in Atos as well I have worked with them but not within them.

We are going to see a slow dissemble of the business. With the current problems of the French Government cant see them bailing out Atos.

It looks like the Capita restructure happened at the right time.

Yip thats true seen this all before. I do not need to sell. Its mainly for family all in ISA and SIPPs. Tax free as a long term investor. I will squeeze every ounce of profit out of my holding.
