Yip that would do nicely.

I know Capita very well from inside.

Been fighting for change for many years.

There are so many good people there, the potential is enormous. We now have the right CEO who is building a great team. Don’t want to say too much for people to connect the dots.

I tend to invest on what I know and had done well over the years.

Information is key there so many good people on the platform, as well as a few idiots! But nothing new there!

Hopefully the future is bright!

I am in pretty deep too with multiple accounts.

I don't have access to any trading platforms but am very well connected in the IT world. There is a lot happening at the moment.

I wish I had access to trading platforms it would help me understand who the bogey men are, along with the saints and sinners.

Every penny on the share price gives me about 9 times your value!

I expect some improvement in the share price shortly with a bigger rise due in July.

Its just a feeling as I cant put my finger on it but do expect the share price to be normalised by August.

Just so many positive things starting to happen.

Mind you there is an election in between!

I might even break even by then!

We are heading towards a digital world using various technologies such as

Microsoft

Amazon

SFDC

Service now

Standard building blocks.

Network services are being reduced there is no margin there!

Digital services need digital tools and trained staff. (Staffing numbers will ebb and flow)

Bid management is under stricter management. (Defined targets)

Re-usable services is where Capita is heading.

Design once sell many times!

Governance needs to change as the business changes

Management need to be held to account perform or be removed!

My expectation is that staffing numbers are sub 40k but there is conflicting evidence in this area!

There is a lot happening at the moment

Loss of contract

This very much depends on the contract.

If the contract is lost staff can transfer under Tupe or take redundancy. There are no Golden Handshakes at Capita except for management. Its generally only customer facing roles are transferred. Design, Deploy and Support tend not to be transferred. If contract is transferred internally such as Birmingham Council, original staff are given the chance to transfer back. Each contract has these costs built in this is ring fenced.

Some times Capita decides not to bid or raise the price if the contract does not fit the new profile.

Capita is tight on financial control

Capita is changing what it bids on so you can expect to see changes as it re-invents itself. We now have senior management instep with the workers. Just a few more deadbeats to be removed!

I agree, As a long suffering Capita shareholder I do not want to see a take over either.

However the share price is being manipulated by certain individuals.

For what reason or purpose! Its certainly not in our interest!

With Atos in trouble and Fujitsu out of the picture the UK, outsourcing market vendors just got smaller.

At the same time the Spend on outsourcing is about to increase. UK civil service needs to improve and cut costs!

So what are the Options

1. More business for remaining companies with Good reputations

2. Takeover opportunities for Outsiders to enter the UK market. This must make Capita a prime candidate!

NHS

Capita is well placed to win the NHS business there is already a design and costing in place! Movement to the cloud fir a like for like replacement, however that could be revamped and improved. There is a few years on the existing contract left. This is a very big contract.

Not sure that the Government would want to award this to Capita as they already have 2 blocks of Allocation to award a third would go against Policy. Problem is very few companies are interested in this type of work! This will be a tricky one! this would require a take on of Atos staff and increase costs for Capita at a time they do not want too!

Its a lit more complicated than that.

There are two types of staff in Capita.

These are

Customer facing (Contracts)

Design, Deploy and Support

Customer facing roles are not changing

Design and Deploy are as Capita changes technology and services. This is the technical intelligence within Capita.

Capita is rebuilding when a service is scrapped all the DDM staff is cut. Capita carries no waste.

except of course in management which will eventually be cut!

Contact Centre

Service costs are based on call volumes not agents.

Contact centres are already highly automated and expensive to run. High levels of automation are expensive. Humans are the cheapest part of the solution. AI will just reduce the cost of automation.

Not all contact centres use AI some say they do but really don't!

Automation is about knowing your customer and what their needs are ( Predictive)

These are well documented within the Capita history. Most have been binned or renewed at sensible contract rates. The remaining contracts have been ring fenced to ensure maximum revenue is recovered. They are covered in yesterdays slide deck.

Not too many left and the bidding process tends to no bid on these opportunities. Simple rule is no margin no bid.

This is no longer a problem!

The CTO is also partly to blame for lack of investment in technology. sweating the assets does not help margins. The use of savage governance policies and hatchet management to resist change has delayed progress! But that is changing!

Hopefully we are on the road to a brighter future!

These were cancelled last year, and no bonus this year either. Virtually no pay-rise last year and likely this year either. Capita staff have not had a real pay-rise in 5 years!

Its been a hard time for the real workers. Senior management always got their shares!

Remember these are real people with families who are not part of the problem but remain part of the solution!

You are right in your assumption, Capita would have an early lead in this area. Capita have been working in this area for some time. Deployment has already taken place for Irish Water!

I have no concerns on a Labour government.

The state has grown to big, the cost of the pensions alone is Astronomical. Labour needs to change opinions. The size of the civil service needs to be reduced. Public service needs to improve. There is no other option.

We are at the end of the road if Labour cant fix the problems they wont get re elected.

I dont see Labour winning by a large majority the trust is just no there!

People will vote tactically

Capita has worked with Amazon before on several projects. Successfully. However the business preference was MS. This is a positive move for the business! With the migration to Service Now and the further deployment of SFDC the future is looking very positive indeed. With the reduction in Network services we are starting to see the business migration plan. Network services is very low margin and the fact that the network team refused to use automation technology spelt tge death knell for this part of the business.
