A Fracking Disaster10 Jan 2019 10:17
I agree with JTF and 250SWB and whilst being one of the lucky investors who has made a tidy sum of cash out of the recent rise, I am completely confused by the are we, will we, won't we, maybe approach of the recent RNS and subsequent emails that followed. I got verbally attacked and threatened with violence for even uttering the words 'mechanical stimulation' recently and low and behold, it appears that I was indeed correct in my assumptions - it appears that the correct equipment to stimulate the well needs to be ordered in and hence the delay. Whilst I fully acknowledge that tactics can change based on initial results, why the hide and seek approach and cute wording on the recent RNS, which totally diverted away from the subject of fracking? The truth is, nobody really knows if what they think they have found is actually commercial, or if it is for the 'Scientists' to mull over...? Who knows? Most of you, like myself, assumed that they were going to crack on with TE-11 straight away, but now that seems it is being held on the back burner for a while. It amazes me that pi's are throwing tens of thousands of pounds into nothing more than a long shot. I only hope those that are throwing vast amounts of cash at this, know what they are doing? Maybe you will be fortunate, but there is a huge chance that you won't be. Without hard facts, flow rates, methodology etc, I am personally not convinced, but time will tell. Like my Chuckle Brother, I do not believe a CEO should be emailing potentially market sensitive information out to pi's private emails imo. The emails in part, contained more information and direction than the recent RNS. Perhaps a conference call would have been the sensible and inclusive approach. In any event, all of this will come out in the wash and we will have to see how this unfolds, but like I said....I am not convinced. GLA.
