Current Phase (2024–2028):Most of the initial orders (65 aircraft) are scheduled for delivery through early 2028

* Recent Top-Up (2031):The 8 additional units ordered in late 2025 are expected to be delivered in 2031.

Emirates has a massive order for Boeing 777X aircraft, but due to ongoing production and certification delays, the delivery timeline has been pushed back significantly with the expected schedule:

* Boeing 777-9: Deliveries are expected to commence from Q2 or mid-2027. While there were hopes for late 2026, recent reports and CEO statements strongly suggest 2027 is now the realistic target for the first 777-9 to enter the fleet.

* Boeing 777-8 (Passenger):Deliveries for the 777-8 passenger variant are expected to follow, starting from2028.

Looking more like the first 4 x A380 leases expire before Emirates will see an alternative replacement options ?

As of 2025, leasing a secondhand Airbus A380 for Emirates is estimated at current market rates for a midlife A380 are roughly $500,000 monthly, or $6 million annually, though this varies based on condition and maintenance. The Emirates fleet is estimated to be around an average of ~$49 million each.

If we take half life cost at $25m and add in 2 years of rental we are at $37m, Bare in mind emirates start to see the 777-9 planes coming through from Q2 2027, may be prudent to sell before the option disappears ?

Slots are limited, and when they can add to the slots they tend to swap out the A380`s with Boeing 777-300ER or the Airbus A350-900. but this is driven by network optimization rather than reduced demand.

Emirates has around 269 planes end of Nov 2025, with 116 of these being A380`s they have various planes on order to the tune of 367 planes.

* Lets look at the B777x planes they have 270 on order out of the 367, and looks like 2027 before they are supposed to enter target ( 7 years late already ).

Airbus's backlog was around 8,700-8,800 aircraft, while Boeing's was roughly 6,500-6,600, both translating to over 10 years of work at current rates.

The redelivery RNS is part of the process to give notice of return to then open up the contract discussions over lease extension, sale or re-lease options for the Aircraft with Emirates or other counterparties.

Next news for Redelivery will be around April for A6-EOQ (27.11.2027) - MSN 201 , and suspect again we have a statement with no confirmation of sale or discussions entered into. I suspect we will see a pull back on the share price with 2 divi payments (JAN ,April), and a larger shake before we get news around June / July.

Divi will be reducing , There is a very good chance planes will be sold for $45MN if not $50MN as the half life terms are higher for AA4 than DNA funds.

How the funds are then returned and distributed, and over which period, is the big unknown question in my mind. Im going to be buyer if we see silly panic pull backs like yesterday as i have been rewarded very well from the A380 plans and emirates in the ISA, Pension funds :)

Different terms on the A380 rentals to Emirates from the DNA companies, with the Half life and minimum life base positions being higher at $17/25m.

* Add into this 2 of the A380`S had modifying agreements for structural changes.

* Base position is say $25m+ scrap value $10m = $35m

* And so really paying say $10m more for buying the A380`s isnt really the issue here, its the baggage of the Thai airways A350`s that becomes the real complication ignoring also the B777-300ER planes.

If and should the Board be recommending to Wood shareholders the low ball offer with out accounts being published they are then likely breaching their duties by recommending a company sale without providing accounts, as the Companies Act 2006 requires them to provide accounts for a proper decision-making process.

Did anyone see the GSF postcard for the revolving credit...

Rabobank Project Finance is pleased to announce the participation in a £100mln Revolving Credit Facility supporting Gore Street Energy Storage Fund (GSF) in the continued build-out of its global BESS portfolio.

Maybe it was hid in the Strategy and Capital Allocation Plan, simply missed it. Anyone else aware ?

Having previously held upwards of 0.5 million shares in GSF, I have pretty much dumped the lot bar a token holding.

It seems pretty clear that over the last 12 month or so the Board knew they couldn't meet the dividend targets yet still kept the illusion of trying on paper and lip service to the shareholders. I did email with GSF over the effect of tariffs some months back, and can see the merit in developing outside the US being a better choice. The current position stinks, and the fact is there seems to be little alignment with shareholders in my view from the previous 2 months fun & games.

But the trust and confidence in the Board is pretty much gone going on the near 50% loss in share price for some over the years, and now pretty much a 50% hair cut of the dividend. unless the carrot dangle is included like never never land ;p

Surprise surprise, even the company LinkedIn posts & comments have been spring cleaned which starts to feel shady and untrustworthy, and to me very clearly desperately trying to hang on, with every trick and game they can ;p

ZB, DNA3 had $12m Half life in the terms and so comparing with AA4 they have $17m for half life, and $25m for minimum.

People holding AA4 could be nicely rewarded in the next 12 months ;p

Commercial aircraft orders increased by almost 900 percent in May 2025 compared to May 2024 (for Airbus, Boeing and Comac commercial aircraft), pushing the total aircraft backlog to a record 16,073.

ADS’ data also reports that 303 aircraft orders were placed in May 2025 – up from 31 orders in May 2024. This figure marks the largest order intake for this calendar month within the past decade.

In 2025, as of the end of May, Airbus had delivered 243 commercial aircraft, while Boeing had delivered 220 aircraft.

Moving the dividend from what was an expected June ex-div date and payment in July to an ex-div now in July with payment in August is unexpected for some and has an effect on income planning. For me not impressed on that one, and good job I reduced my holding on this down.

Normally the special would be locked in along side the ex-date, for the ordinary dividend. Not really impressed with the handling on this one.

Pretty obvious if the RA payments are set for summer on Big rock annually that GSF will be moving the pay dates for dividends around, and i would expect a shift out to the 2,5,8,11 model with 8 being the final dividend. Seems to be no direction or feedback on this one.

For me this as an income share is now down at 6% area and not worth holding, but it is now a long term hold for a buy out and such.
