Sloppy Eqtec generated €1.45 million in revenue during H1 2024 and we reported an operating loss of €1.64 million. For EQTEC to break even, it would need to close the gap between its operating expenses, which totaled approximately €2.3 million in administrative costs, and its gross profit, which was €825,654 during the first half of the year​. iF we assume similar administrative expenses (they might be less as many cost savings have been initiated) and gross profit margins EQTEC would require approximately €4 million in revenue to cover its operating expenses, based on its current cost structure. The gap is closing and will take just one financial close to ensure that.

If we hit 3m revenue minimum and 4m costs we lose 1m. Perfectly fine as we raised 3.2m recently. If we have an equipment order of 3m in the meantime at 30% margin we add 3m revenue and 2m to costs. Therefore we are at breakeven at this low equipment order number. We are told equipment orders will be bigger. If we land France deal at 40m all bets are off. Even at current feed revenue we are closing in on breakeven sometime in 2025, although i cant see no equipment orders coming in from all the projects paying us for designs. gla

From the recent interims that from an almost standing start we did 1.45m and we are seeing rising services revenues in 2nd half and this is not including any expected equipment orders so 3m full year without any changes seems likely and reasonably conservative. On the cost side we told we are cutting costs and these are not showing as they might in the interims so they are likely to be around 4m in FY 2024 so the gap is narrowing and if we get Northfork or any one of our equipment sales in play with 30% margin we are likely to breakeven or become profitable depending on the project and size. I am very optimistic that 2025 will be the start of a bumper year and 2024 is not over yet so it would be great to book at early equipment sale before christmas. The key is that the gap between cost and revenue is narrowing. If we do announce an equipment sale then hopefully that puts paid to any further raise required as the order would give them asset finance. We wait and see but also when Northfork is back online we might be able to sell our stake. as the board has found we do have assets that we can sell and i thought the remainder of our MNRG shares would be sold. We banked almost 3.3m from logic, placing and MNRG shares so used wisely that should cover costs for 9-12 months as this was completed only last month.

In interims there was so many things highlighted and so much news ahead. I forgot about Greece but this should be live anytime soon. We are waiting on Grand/combe sign off and other French feed work and Hawaii. It is clearly stated Italy is stabilised so teething issues, mostly staff and dodgy Jenbacher is sorted. I hope this month we get some sign off news as the page long lost of highlights was sometime ago now. Eqtec needs to followup on progress.

Sag mill was bought for $7m and while it has languished it might well have held its value if mills have gone up in price since. Certainly be a nice brucie bonus on top of a $150m buy out of La India. Hopefully next few weeks we complete the sale and maybe announce the sale of the mill simultaneously.

Into last few weeks. Could be Mako based on what they said last week. Hoping for 60p+ but market seems a long way behind for a likely triple bag before christmas. Gla

Still feels like the market is unsure as we have had a few false dawns but the way the loan is structured and the sale of the mill does give action to expectations we are sold pending a legal finalisation. While only watching webis is not bust and your stake will be in a private company that could be sold substantially higher than today, of course flipside is that once private and Mellon has 65% he can probably dilute everyone to 0 out of view. On balance Webis was massively undervalued and today £500k. The disconnect is partly a symptom of Aim as its hard to sell Webis for £50m if company on stock market is £500k. Taken privately it will be easier to sell. Painful but if Mellon is good he will honour investors.

Chinese i suspect use Chinese built mining equipment and it is what they are used to. I have come across this before as if sanctions come down the road it can affect all Chinese companies that are essentially an extensions of the state. therefore they use only chinese equipment that is also considerably cheaper. As already confirmed Mako are truckable and there is no reason to indicate they are selling the kit if they did not wish to give a hint of a imminent sale and that the buyer has indicated they do not need the kit. it does feel we are into the final weeks of Condor. gla

Simonpietri did a full tour of multiple plants and we have Movialsa operating 10 years. We refinanced €2.7m with a bank in Italy for that plant. We met all optimisation requirements of the bank. We are literally about to switch on Northfork. We are at signoff with many projects in France and Hawaii to start with. I think the tech is proven, albeit with Italy it was complicated by staff, old Jenbacher and so on as it was a retrofit. I think we need to move on from does the tech work. What we need, and i wholly agree, is Eqtec to deliver on contracts signed and sealed for plants. We are steadily increasing revenues for new projects and maintenance contracts but the biggies will be the equipment as this could land in £10 and £40m dollops with high margins. We are treading water, i think getting close to covering out overheads but we need a few big ticket items to close to take us into £30m market cap territory. Lets hope we get one project prior to New Year and some decent updates on other new contracts signed for works. We are waiting for £1m for services from Hawaii which seemee imminent.

Sooner we get a binding deal the better for the final price as i have a feeling we could offers once the price is known. I am sure Condor have a mill buyer lined up but perhaps waiting on signing deal. I think only chinese and Calibre would not need a mine but Mako could also make trucking work at the gold price today and given we have such a high resource. I think we will move towards mid 30s as word gets out of a possible triple bag, possibly before christmas :)

If we can get a binding offer in next few weeks it does not discount a another offer coming in later. It sounds like its either Chinese, Mako or Calibre. We could get a bidding war once the first binding offer comes in. I still think Calibre will walk away with the prize as its now pocket change for them and can easily outbid anyone else, except perhaps the chinese.

Well Mako have always been in the frame and their market cap is £150m so debt of 75% means raising £40m so possible and highly desirable for Mako as would make them a behemoth in Nic over next 10 years and they would reap the billions we should have been. The last paragraph was telling “ We wrap up with the Company initiative to make another acquisition by year-end, or at the latest Q1 of next year, as another key upcoming catalyst.” which if you think about it there is not many options. I see this as very good news. Often on placings a load of shares are underwritten and offloaded. There is a reason we have been anchored to .6 for so long, this might be the catalyst to see us move up more strongly. Could be a strong opening if it is what i think it was an not the first time Kefi has flatlined for months only to start ramping up to get back to a more realistic market cap pending news on Kefi being in line for £1.5bn cash over life of mine under current pea. I have been pretty scathing of the management for sometime but the technology and advanced nature of their projects is standout when you look at the distribution of projects around Europe and the US. What is most powerful is our modular nature from small scale to large scale and across so many feedstocks. With the upcoming regulatory changes moving away from incineration we are a very strong offering. The bombed out shareprice is a major problem because it must affect partnerships to some extent as we might be considered too small and certainly impacts raising funds. Everything points to making 2025 the year of Eqtec and we are almost guarateed a great windfall once Northfork comes online and France fixes the planning issue. We recently raised over £3m so good for 9 months and today worth £2.5m so plenty is factored in. DP needs to prove himself to investors he can deliver or i suspect he will consider himself a failure and exit as no CEO stays if he is not confident about the future and other investors closer to the board would removed him if they did not think he can recover the position. I am invested and topped up recently so I just hope DP can release news and keep his hands in his pockets to start to move away from the dilutiom death spiral. What i also like is we moved all debt into a single secured debt with no payments until the end with payments triggered on receipt of revenue. It will reduce the crazy fees DP was continually paying out.

I am skeptical the 44m was a buy. I think it has been lurking for sometime and holding back the price. Hopefully tomorrow the brakes come off and start pushing on a lot quicker. If a 44m buy came on the scene we would see price rise considerably as that is over 1% of the company.

It will be interesting to see what the final sale price will be and if closer to 60p or less. Hopefully just a few weeks to find out or this will be stretching the sales process!

Steady and consistent buying in Canada and UK and price is slowly climbing but surprisingly slowly for the volume. Hopefully head back to mid 30s where we belong over coming weeks and 60p on final sale of company :)

All i hope is that Harry and the EG get this OTL by mid December. Given how much Harry has said this quarter and from all the great research it does feel we could get some major news this month which will start the long climb back up towards 2.4p and beyond. Come on Harry deliver one prediction on time!

You cant always use the past to predict the future. I have given plenty of weight to the tech and the global support base we have amassed inclusing Wood snd Idex and a plethora of projects Eqtec are involved with. Of course DP has massacred PIs investments, whether unfortunate due to gung ho expansionism or deliberate is open to debate but we are still on track and the pivot has been successfull, for those who are coming to Eqtec today snd not jaded by the last 3 years of indigestion. The next news i hope not coincide with any dilution and i hope kickstarts a prolonged re-rate. So far no investor in Eqtec has made a profit so i find it hard to believe that recent investors are 1.5p and 1p are excited by the current .6p price. its a nonsense price but we need updates and execution to change it. I have continued to average down.
