i think the point of the TIM article and the recent RNS is that Eve have been profitable for the last 4 months and the the CEO has said a number of times their marketing returns are profitable. Therefore as they increase the marketing we should see increasing top line and bottom line returns from that spend. Spare a moment to consider that Eve actually generated all this cash with largely no advertising and just based on brand, recommendations and articles. Can you imagine what it will be like when Eve execute further marketing. Therefore at the end of the year the £10m or so in the bank will be still be there and probably increasing, although if they can deploy that to increase shareholder returns then so be it. I think the BOD are taking their time and making good decisions. I am however in agreement with you that next year if Eve are not worth around £30+ then they will probably come under a low ball offer around 20p because of the likely consolidation. There are ample companies looking to buy a brand that has had £60m+ spent on it since inception and well known. Eve has a stellar brand for premium hybrid mattresses and it is the premium end of the market they are going after.

A tide going out day on the back of lockdown2 wobbles and some people have had to cut losses or traders. Once the dust settles gold prices will rise on nervousness and gold companies entering the stage of production should do very well but its just of those days to sit out and watch it rebound another day when PEA is released fo Hawiah or financing update.

on the marketing side the last piece of the turnaround jigsaw is they signed with Folk, that are a great agency, and they proved that they are making profits from their existing marketing. They can now can push the button knowing they have the right products at the right price and therefore we should see rising revenue and rising profits. Turnarounds take time but Eve management have played a blinder since last December and it is pretty hard to fault them and i suspect they will get the marketing right as well, given the CEO is the ex marketing director so that bodes well. you might hope she knows a thing or two. This is a recovery play like no other.

Eqtec is a pretty safe harbour for Covid2 and we just need to get a few of those contracts signed sealed and over the line and the market to know Palumbo has the metal to do the talk and the walk and then it is really a question about the trajectory of the rise and Palumbo does not hold back on that.

Well Covid2 was inevitable and unless you took the "CommonScience" approach of Sweden is just waiting around the corner. Well spotted and yes turnarounds are on so many levels but improving customer experience and lowering your costs is exactly what we need now to continue to drive up profits and open opportunity to improve guidance in the next October trading statement go cover the 3 months since the 31st June end of year accounts that were recently released. Maybe saving some good news for next month and keeping the powder dry.

You would expect that most documentation and meetings can be completed remotely. i recently had witness documents sorted over Zoom with lawyer so hopefully that is ok elsewhere in the world.

I was also impressed that in last webinar Harry explained it was possible to get to Ethiopia in October with Covid travel restrictions and was prepared for them so he has been doing some prep. Certainly the main impact on Kefi has been on international travel and practicalities but if he releases an RNS with the financial agreement but delays travel restrictions then that is key. However i am sure Harry will row to Ethiopia if he needed to. If the PEA for Saudi is good then this underpins Kefi market cap alone. Harry has talked multiples of TK so hawiah could be a $4-10bn copper and gold mine in the future where Partner in project is the Saudi royal family and country already offers 75% financing at low cost so its almost best project you could find. That respurce will just grow and grow.

Isn’t having elections as originally planned actually good news? The opposition argument before EG were using Covid as cover to stay in power. if elections go ahead as planned then govt are going to double down on making sure they go into elections with as much positive spin as possible and announcing project to create countries largest export mine i am sure will not go unnoticed.

Legals take time but definitely a positive change of language. of course would have liked a monday RNS of a different nature but we are expecting other news on projects so to me a key attraction to Eqtec is we are not a single project company but multiple projects.

Carlotowl i like your thinking and in this case i think you are right that no news is good news in that if further extension required it would have been released orderly. At the end of the day the £10m raise was to make **** happen.

I think David Palumbo has only just got his feet under the desk and to most people here utterly changed the business model and brough focus snd discipline to what looks to be an incredible magnitufe step change. last raise of £10m was at .45 and we are 30% higher so not a bad outcome. Billingham would be massive news but actually the market appears to have already factored in a delay but if they pull it off your 1p might well be coming into sharp focus.

They are probably right in the very short-term as Spreadex continue selling but it is more likely Quiet friday before the storm. I wonder if BB watched the last webinar with expectations of RNS updates but would not be surprised with a monday PEA and putting out early magnitude larger copper find in Saudi on the map. If Kefi TK has 1m indicated gold or $2bn then we are presumably talking a multiple of this for the Saudi find just on scratching the surface and they have not even looked at depth or along the whole strike. Our market cap is £48m lol and TK is ready to blow. Once Spreadex moves on things will motor but its times like this when people will look back and wish they bought some in the lulls :)

Thor looks very interesting and if you like Copper projects have a look at Kefi gold and copper. Kefi are about a week away from releasing their PEA on their latest Saudi Arabia discovery that is a massive Copper find. Might be worth a little research.

Holding RNSs are baffling at the best of times but omissions like this are not uncommon. Spreadex are actively exiting their position and if they carried on at the same rate of 1% over last few weeks possibly they might be gone or stop by early October but you can see them on level2 and by the large buys pegged around 2.55. Once gone or when PEA is released we will move to 3p and if the holy grail of TK finance is signed off we are start a new beginning. As far as it has been for last 12 months the project is starting in October and financing is imminent and government of Ethiopia have already been building roads and power to the mine location so things are all in motion. I understand incumbent government would like to announce right before election as a positive job creation story but i suspect it will be very useful for government in this current time of pandemic where government needs this sort of distraction.
