Directors want to enhance shareholder value and I suppose the most obvious solution might be to sell the prime asset (Leopard Rock) IF they could get a decent price for it. Watch this space......

this tiddler recently but for gambling money it seems a decent bet. One to tuck away and be patient with.

From over 40 years experience in share investing I've found there are no upside or downside limits. If people decide to dump shares en masse the price will tank. That's a worst case scenario. This one ticks most of my boxes. It's cash rich and has great prospects. Well worth buying below or around 3p but you must be patient. I also hold Cambria Africa which is a great asset play but much smaller. (I see you've looked at this one Jolly) All the best.

On the face of it this is a fundamentally undervalued share, but on the same criteria so are dozens of other AIM stocks. What is the catalyst to get things moving upwards? A dividend or buyback might help but this isn't a happy market for small cap shares. So many at or near their year low. I'm going to invest in a few thousand and wait for the news to push this back up to 5p where it should be.

We seem attracted to the same shares. This company is local to me. The stats look attractive and certainly a buy anywhere near 40p

I suspect this one is going to drift for some time. Once momentum is lost it takes some getting back. Might buy if it goes sub 25 because it does pay a dividend. My divi stocks have been my best performers recently. Trap is a peach and you can see from the buy volumes where it should be headed. Bought last Friday at just under 17p

Yes, the news has turned pretty flat in tone. Beeen tempted by this one for a while but I suspect it might stabilise sub 25p. I always hate director sales. Doesn't bode well

You guys make me smile with your caustic wit. I know how you feel. How can these directors justify their huge salaries when the shareholders(owners) get nothing by way of divis. I've been watching this one since it was up in the 90s. Good job I didn't buy then Still feel there's loads of upside courtesy of Guyane but the question is when??

My tactics are to buy a number of stocks with embedded value like this one. If you have a portfolio of sleepers then eventually they tend to be discovered or taken over. If you've only got a couple life gets boring on the investment front. B P Marsh are a recent case in point. Suddenly kicked up the other day. NOP will have its day but patience is required

No you wont get less than 22p. If theyget 75% they can delist the shares which would be a problem. If they get 90% they can forcibly purchase the remaining 10%. It's a bum deal but I'm reluctantly going to accept the offer. I paid 22.75 so no great loss.

I think Stock Exchange rules prevent the bidder from buying in the market above the offer price of 22p. Let's hope they don't get above 75% acceptances.

There's a raft of small oil companies that look good value. Check out President and Trap.Unfortunately so many get stuck in a rut like NOP. I think it will deliver eventually. You just need a big portfolio of others to keep you awake.

Thanks for those. I'm a sorry holder of Nighthawk but my average price is much lower than some. These small oils have an endless capacity to disappoint. Northern at least has a bit of meat on the bone.
