Yes the intention is clearly to make the existing cash resources last as long as possible as a share issue would be massively dilutive at this price. Buying more now is not hedging-you are increasingly exposed to any serious setback. Obviously you correspondingly gain on good news. Let's hope it comes soon.

not in closed period I would be buying heavily at this price if I were a director. Obviously only if I truly believed that the end game was going to pan out. (No pun intended). The wider market is heavily sceptical.

Well certainly nothing to warrant the sp collapse we've seen. There's several of us here who believe this will come good big time. L&G selling shares hasn't helped but several other small pharmas have also seen massive falls. Look at Immupharma and Faron. Also some big buys here recently. An opportunity!

Nice deprecating sense of humour too!. I think that if more capital is needed short term it needs to come from Bird. This business is so clearly distressed that a potential buyer for Mankayan might pick it up cheap from administrators. Looks like it might only be useful as a tax offset.

nice chunky buys coming in. As with all small pharmas its a race between getting the first product to market and the cash running out. At least this BOD seem disinclined to issue huge numbers of shares to raise cash when the price is on its knees.

Just market conditions. This company ticks the boxes right now. Tight spread, low m/c and some excellent products. I aim to invest next week. Great potential

Yes, you're essentially right but we have to call it investing or speculating to justify risking these amounts. I wouldn't dream of betting such amounts on the horses or the casino-would you?

That's a rather sad but poignant insight there as a basis for investment. It ill be nice for you if this finally comes good. I came in at a mere 30p but share prices often reflect confidence more than what's actually going on with the business. No negative news that I'm aware of so I don't mind adding more. I'm a patient investor not a quick buck speculator.

you've highlighted a key point there Prickly. I have long argued that this company has never negotiated from a position of strength. Otherwise why would the sp be on its knees? Why has nobody made an offer even at this knockdown price? Clearly much that we longsuffering shareholders are not privy to. Lots of us with heavy losses I suspect.

I always try and hold back enough funds to buy more at knockdown prices unless there is clear evidence of potential dangers. We all know that pharmas are high risk/high reward speculations. There are no obvious red flags here. Soon we could have a whip round and make an offer for the company!

This seems to reflect whats going on with numerous small cap companies. Institutional selling overwhelming an already nervous band of p.is. It's a case of holding your nerve . Bold buyers now should reap the rewards.

This has reached ridiculous levels now and either it will fail or investors will get big rewards from here. Like you I keep adding and being patient.

Anyone who follows this company would not have been surprised by these results. The same thing happened 2 years ago. Of course it's on a tiny p/e of under 3 being wholly Zimbabwe based. However the CEO is top notch and I'm convinced the company will survive the present troubles there. I also suspect that the sp will revert to its earlier level.

when you say they have a history of returning money to shareholders as far as I know it happened once.in 2013. I bought at around 30p and got 8p back. That really doesn't help much looking at todays price. Also there's a different team in situ. Also if you envy people who can load up now it suggests you would do so. For me their credibility is completely shot. Long termers hoping for a miracle now

You're right. I think anyone posting here could have made a better job of it. Clearly Bird has little credibility as evidenced by the response to his claims about Mankayan value. Sadly there seems to be no room to raise further monies at this sp. What's the solution?? Plenty of AIM companies have tanked similarly.
