I’m pretty sure we are in for something big here over the next few weeks. I was in RKH when the share price went through the roof between April and July 2010 (but stupidly did not top slice); I was in SAR when it went through the roof between April and July 2021 (and I did top slice); I am now in PRD which will go through the roof in the next few weeks and I will top slice! IPR is a bit harsh Keith but I do love self deprecation .. I’ve always found it a very helpful technique for getting people to actually listen to you. If you say “oh people never listen to me” the first thing that usually happens is that people do listen!!

£2 (old 4p) would be a good start and help Matt get back towards break even! Gunnar good to hear from you the DES oil to water fiasco was indeed bizarre.

Hi Matty sorry I recall previously you got into SAR at around 2.50. Hopefully SAR will achieve the holy grail of £14 one day and we can all celebrate. My biggest dog has been RKH which I got into in quite a big way at 50p 14 years ago when speculation about oil in the Falklands was febrile; it’s now 10p but hopefully production is imminent! The biggest mistake I make is talking enthusiastically to family and friends about investments and even though I always say it’s all high risk stuff and to be avoided unless they can afford to lose the money they still have a go sometimes!!

Every chance SAR could be taken out one day for a billion .. wouldn’t be the first time in this industry by a long chalk! However having bought in at 50p (1p old money) as I did many on here will make significant money at £2 or £4 or £6 or £8 or £10 or £12 or £14 or at all of these prices with structured selling on the way up.

The price pattern on Angle over last few years is almost identical to SAR; no reason why we can’t jump 150% on good data we’ve done it before. If we did jump 150% how many on here would stay? I’ll stick with my staged selling strategy because I still think £14 is quite possible.

Good point Potnak!! Let’s hope that even Mr Market will see sense at some point; one of the guys I chatted to after the AGM when we went across the road for an impromptu coffee and cake repeatedly made the point in a manner reminiscent of Mr Gradgrind in Hard Times .. that .. it’s all about the data, the data, the data; hopefully by the end of 2024 .. 737 will have progressed further and 1801 will be entering 1b and we will be submerging in data!!

Take a long time to build a stake at 4710 per go!!!

In early May 2023 neither 737 nor 1801 were “in play” and the share price was 1.30. Now they are both back in play and the share price is 68p. A lifetime investing provides minimal insight!!

I reckon I’ve seen at least 6 different write ups on today’s news! Dare I say they seem to be upping their PR game as investors like PCS and others urged them to do at the AGM?

How does this licencing agreement compare with the original Sierra agreement which I believe was amended in 2020? Be interesting to compare the 2. Good news though because at least 737 is no longer washed up in some backwater

£1 would be just amazing. To be honest just getting back to the most recent high of 40p 5 years ago would be great; my average in is 60p most of it over 14 years ago so a very long way to go but £1 would at least make the wait a bit more worthwhile!!

Wonderful and nostalgic story .. your Mr Buisseret would certainly not have been out of place alongside some of our characters or vice verse! I was lucky to get into Kings Macclesfield when it was still a grammar school and how the country needs a return to schools like that to give both opportunities and inspiration to future generations from all walks of life.

Latin can be a useful language for clarity .. in addition to GRH specifically referencing the licences here as “sine qua non” one could add as a general rider that all investments should be viewed in the context of the caveat “Volenti non fit injuria” ; I have my Latin teacher Mr Vigor (who never removed his anorak in class in the 3 years he taught us) and my law and economics teacher Krink Bill (who never smiled once in the 2 years he taught us!) oh how I miss those happy school days of truly eccentric madcap teachers!!

I hope GST does prove successful which is why I am invested but they all carry risk. Reward has always had a direct relationship with risk. I agree GGP may struggle to get to 60p now but 30p is still possible; I have ARV which is in the same geological area as GGP but has potential to rise more dramatically.

PRD have had a great year drilling in Morocco and could potentially have discovered massive amounts of gas subject to final testing on top of other assets.

RKH discovered large quantities of oil in Falklands 12 years ago; FID is expected in 2024 and hopefully first oil in 2026. Have just monetised an international court decision to secure their medium term financial position. BOR will follow in RKHs wake as it is seriously undervalued.

SAR a pharma research company currently well into testing products for treatment of psoriasis and cancer. Currently 60p but in my views further forward than they were in 2021 when share price went above £4 briefly.

POW have an interesting portfolio of interests in a variety of raw material projects and I think is significantly undervalued.

Also invested in GGP, ARV, BOIL recently invested in TRP and of course GST.

85 to 90% of my investments are in high yielding investment trusts, cash and very recently Bonds again and 10 to 15% is in the high risk stuff above .. fun high risk shares each of which could generate a life enhancing return

I’m sure GST may have the potential to rise 7x over next 2 years which is why I am invested but there are several other shares out there with similar potential; I am in at least 5 other shares that could do that and I only need one of them to come good!!

I think I was right thinking there was an RNS promised by end of 2023 on Cory Moruga; happy to be corrected by more learned posters on here.

My wonderful late father had one of the first E Types in 1962 British racing green, soft top, spoke wheels and no speed limits in those days so he could really open it up on the M1; my wife tried to track it down from a photograph for for my 50th birthday but sadly no longer in the distance!! Still fancy an Aston though; a good AM Vantage convertible with about 40,000 miles on the clock would cost around £30,000; you could probably run it for 3 years and get your money back!!
