The excitement has been delayed for another couple of months which is frustrating; I had PRD down to take off share price wise in late 2023. Whatever the reasons for the delay in testing they should have told us about the delay weeks ago as they promised they would.

Is our TYK2 much different to Nimbus’ TYK2; it’s a shame Takeda went with Nimbus because I always fancied a deja vu moment with Takeda having done very well from Takeda’s take over of Shire!

Passiton .. no idea if this may be of any use but I have met 2 people completely randomly in the last month who suffered severe joint pain and both said that drinking ginger tea ((chopped up ginger soaked in hot water) made the world of difference. With all the high risk shares that I hold I hope to see a minnow turn into a big fish by which I mean a £1 billion company.

So for BOIL that would be 5p a share and from what I read that is not impossible.

That’s correct Miker but probably my fault for using £ rather than pence!! The number of shares and total values are correct. Either way a 5 fold gain on my original investment would be splendid. I would sell 1/3 at that point, as is always my strategy on riskier shares, and then wait and see if a really big payday follows but with no stress!

I bought 1,333,333 at 0.003 cost £4,000

Currently 1,333,333 at 0.0012 value £1,600

At 1.7p would be 1,333,333 at 0.017 value £22,600

If I’m wrong I’ll get my coat!!

So tricky when so many shares at such a low price!!

I’d be happy with 1.7p Passiton. That’s 14 times up on current price and would value my humble original investment of £4,000 at £22,500 .. which would be nice!!

Thanks Eddie and Howie really helpful. BOIL is one I bought a while ago and don’t look at every day. I bought £4,000 worth at about twice todays price and based on recent posts there seems to be potential for serious gains here in due course. I have a bigger holding in PRD where news is imminent.

If the sudden rise is being driven by something what is it; are there rumours circulating, do some people have inside information or is it just MM/traders having fun at our long suffering expense?

I’ll be staying till at least 60p to get my money back! But if we get to FID and the awarding be worth a lot more than 60p. We are looking at 500 million barrels + at Sea Lion then there is Isabel and all the other potential down there!!

PH have confirmed all our worst fears and have apparently brought nothing to the table; surely they should have been in a position to arrange a better source of finance than this dire RF facility; I hope someone asks this at the AGM .. what have PH ever done for us? I asked the question at the last investor meet but it wasn’t answered; they chose to ignore what I thought was a very pertinent question.

Thanks Horse and good luck to you; a positive announcement in next 4 weeks would make a great Xmas present. I would sell one third at 50p which will mean I had doubled my money on my original investment at just under 10p and I can enjoy the rest of the ride “stress free” as I have done with SAR

As part of my own plan PRD is supposed to come good in 2023 .. still very hopeful something big will emerge here in next 5 weeks! Its GST in 2024, SAR in 2025 then RKH and BOR in 2026; would like these little successes along the way to top up the old pension! Also got GGP, POW and BOIL as other options sitting in my risky portfolio 😵‍💫😵‍💫

I’m the same .. it was the mice testing that got me into SAR back in 2011. I remember I was sitting in the car park at a garden centre in Knutsford and heard about the 100% success in mice tests and decided to have a punt; it was less than a penny in old money then! Not much has changed but it will!! I was so glad that it spiked in 2021 which meant I could sell a third get all my initial money back “doubled” and still retain the other two thirds!

Why does SAR need this money so soon?

Very interesting view of risk BRV which I share. I think managing your risk profile is vital and only you can do it for yourself. I like to keep 5% of my total assets (property, pension, shares, cash, savings) in risky “fun” shares. I hope that just one of these shares (including PRD, RKH, GGP, GST, POW, SAR etc) might one day grow from a minnow into a big fish worth a billion or more. For PRD that would mean a share price of £1.75 which is not impossible. PRD represents about 20% of my high risk stuff and so 1% of my total assets. If it went to a billion/£1.75 it would be up to 15% of my assets and I would sell as it would be a life enhancing result even for an old dinosaur like me😵‍💫😵‍💫!

I agree Lythan. I tried to retire at 57 got bored within 3 months so studied for 12 months and re qualified as an accountant, set up a Practice and built up a base of 300 clients and then sold it 10 years later I think you need a reason to get up in the morning. Playing the markets (reading LSE chats, playing tennis and golf, learning the piano and touring all the wonderful places around Europe and learning some of their beautiful languages will do me now!!
