It is extremely exciting seeing AFC potentially linked with a company such as Toyota and this could have partly propelled the share price up to 8p, however, I remember a few years back when AFC opened an extension on their unit at Dunsfold and a representative from Samsung cut the ribbon. There was much speculation that Samsung could potentially be the manufacturer for AFC stacks which has still amounted to nothing. It's best not to put 2 and 2 together to get 5, and wait for actual confirmed news.

17 million traded today and an increase of just over 2p. We've seen this share price drop by 0.5p on just a few hundred thousand sold. Makes no sense??

Congratulations have to be paid to AFC for releasing this worlds first news. It certainly is another unexpected direction that we're also heading down, but wow it could be lucrative!
I must admit I would now like AFC to also bring investors up to speed on all the other projects notiified in November, lets not get sidetracked from making sure our product achieves PLACE and has all the manufacturing processes in support. Then we can finally it seems relax and watch the company announce further contracts and grow into a leading 'next generation energy supplier'.

Eddietheo, what is your reasoning for believing the RNS would be released on a Thursday? I'm intrigued!

Quite relieved today that the markets haven't gone into meltdown after last nights result. Could 3 shares indicate 3 days to RNS i.e. Monday? Lets hope so, there's so much potential news flow to come.

Maybe expecting the markets to fall dramatically after the landslide defeat in Parliament. Who knows!

The Proactive Investor link is a good sign that news is due as they've been backing AFC for years. The article seems to be reminding the market of all news that's due soon in readiness for of the first RNS. Be nice to see this get back above 10p.

Signing of the stack manufacturing contract was expected by the end of 2018. So in fairness, an announcement might not be due on this until early January 2019. Once one contract is announced I have a feeling they'll all be announced within a short period, hopefully in Q1.

With De Nora and AFC working on an integrated product is there a possibility that AFC might be looking at licensing revenue as an income source. The licensing income can be paid initially as a lump sum amount which might avoid/reduce a potential placing.

southernhay, thanks for your concern but I am quite content with my life thanks. If investors are enquiring over the apparent lack of internal share purchases at these deflated prices when we are led to believe that we are on the cusp of commercialisation, i see that as a valid observation. Most of us PI's have been investing when the company has been in need of funds, it would be nice to see more investment from the Board of Directors.

this has crossed my mind too Risky. If I worked for AFC and knew that we are weeks away from important news I'd be piling into this and telling friends and family. Maybe not even the staff believe the promises anymore!!

A fairly even split of shares bought v sold today yet the company down over 15%. This is being played like a fiddle. Lots of news must be forthcoming in Q1 otherwise the Southern Oil deadline for early Q3 won't be achievable. Maybe this will buoy the price for a strategic investment?

Hi Mouchers, I used Hargreaves Lansdown and bought £2 grands worth. Hopefully AFC will power on (no pun intended) and luck won't be an issue! :) However, just in case good luck to you and all other AFC holders.

I notice that De Nora acquired 2 companies in 2015, Ozone Elettronica Internazianale & Severn Trent Services Water Purification "to pursue the development and extension of it's diversified portfolio".
So De Nora do acquire smaller companies where it creates greater synergy for the benefit of its customers.

Hi Desertwolfe, who are De Nora's other fuel cell customers? I have tried to find client names on their website but could only find reference to AFC.

Does this video signify that De Nora are about to tie up a deal to become a Fuel Cell supplier. It sure looks like it!

Yes Merry Christmas BB and hopefully "by the end of 2018" will mean news early in January of a contract for the building of the stacks.
