I would only add that at that point the "adequate funds for the coming year" would not have taken into account a possible few months delay to incoming revenue, and therefore unless salaries are reduced, at some point towards the end of the year, there might be a shortfall. All speculation though, and I'm sure more information will be gained at the AGM (virus permitting) if we haven't already announced any contracts.

We have previously speculated that AFC might have enough funding to last until they have revenue from contracts. If, due to the economic turmoil caused by this virus, there is a delay in the first orders, then the £4 million drawdown facility might prove to come in handy just to pay salaries etc.

Daz, you must be desperate to get back in on a lower price to come out with that drivel!

Todays closing share price settled on the 50 day moving average which should provide some resistance. If it breaks this, we'll be back in the teens. whatever happens the company fundamentals are still good and with a confirmed contract, the outlook will be very profitable.

Noticed a couple of 1 trades today too, if you believe in that sort of thing!

Iwant...yes I've also bought a lot more than I originally intended here, started at 72p on a spike (ouch!) and then bought all the way down to 5p. Great to see AFC back blue in the portfolio, and all of a sudden, over the last few weeks I'm being bombarded with emails from my broker in respect of more of their products. Didn't want to know when AFC were red! :)

Great RNS and another product for AFC to showcase. Isn't there talk of a diesel genset exclusion zone in London too? If so, surely this product could be in demand there. Hydrogen stocks are now the flavour of the month and AFC seem to be timing their introductions 'at the right time'. Onwards and upwards

Korea, Thailand, Akzo Nobel appear to have been dropped due to the fuel cell not meeting expected output (think it was 240kw). AB has also stated since that the unit price of electricity paid by such companies was lower than realised due to amount of electricity they consume from power companies. Therefore the profit wasn't there, or wasn't worthwhile these companies making the investment in the fuel cells. This might change in the near future as governments add pressure to these companies to become carbon neutral.

They also seem to be backed by industrial giant Siemens who will have some clought. An earlier post stated that their fuel cell is less efficient than AFC's.

Someone recently commented that they were hoping for an AFC RNS for a contract to supply EV Chargers to someone like Tescos. I came across this news item which may be old news to some on here but nevertheless less demonstrates that the big companies are already tying up deals for EV chargers (albeit connected to the grid)https://www.volkswagen.co.uk/electric/tesco-partnership

The trouble is, "later this year" usually means we'll be waiting until Christmas again. Ok that might be unlikely this year but when we're told in December "We're ready for sales!" us shareholders can be forgiven for feeling slightly disappointed to learn that we now wait again until "later in the year".

Wouldn't be surprised to see another RNS this week. In days gone by the share price would have gone down this morning.

Share prices in ITM, CWR, PHE and PPS all well up today. Is this evidence that investors are starting to transfer money into hydrogen stocks. I'm bursting for AFC to announce a contract or JDA so we can hopefully join the party. Some of the aforementioned companies are seeing big rises on no news.

Incase I've missed it, has information been released in respect of the January roadshows i.e. who, where etc? I'm assuming this hasn't been released as surely this would be good PR for AFC. Don't think we'll see contracts for a few weeks yet mind as disruptive technology still has to be proven in the field, and any public sector interest could take months bearing in mind how public finance is scrutinised. Still, the share price is holding up and chart patterns indicate that this should go north again soon (excluding any negative news releases)

Does anyone know off hand if the granting of these options means that there can't be any share price moving news released for a month? I have a feeling it doesn't apply, but would appreciate second opinions. Thanks.

Strange science when a 20% loss in a day ends up with a bullish pattern!

Re: Dubai MOU
At the AGM in April Adam Bond stated that "there was still interest" from the Middle East, however, as has been alluded to, it is highly unlikely at this stage that AFC will crystallise any previous MOU's for large stationary power fuel cells projects. However, the Middle East may well be interested in EV Chargers or the forthcoming off grid back up generators. If the Southern Oil plant re-design confirms the amount of hydrogen available, then there could be a 200kw-400kw system signed for in 2020 which could then act as the demonstration plant for other chemical plants to analyse before placing an order. So probably another 2-3 years I would think before other orders for large stationary projects. By this time there may also be more pressure on oil/petro chemical/ chlorine-alkali plants to go greener.
