AFC Energy is working with industry in general and Councils in particular to define a business model for system deployment.

Council's are notoriously slow in passing any resolutions, especially one where a high financial commitment is required for such new technology. Let's hope that the Government stick to their commitment for funding the green revolution and don't hit Local Authorities once again with post Covid-19 austerity measures.

My guess is this will be taken down to 11.5p next due to unavoidable delay of potential contracts. Would love to be proved wrong.

Bought into AFC 10 years ago and was prepared for the long haul i.e. 10 years or so. I was certainly hoping to be sitting on a nice profit in this time, but instead am sitting on a loss (albeit small). Cutting edge technology by it's very nature is a risky investment, but the expectations that have strung shareholders along for so long have become a joke. Reading DW's list in an earlier email has just made me feel that I've been taken for a mug. There must be positive news soon or we will descend even further downwards

IG Index podcast today mentioned Synairgen as only UK company trialling a covid-19 drug.

I see this as a confidence booster in these troubled times. More money in the bank (despite dilution) and if an institution is willing to fork out nearly £1.5 million then I'm happy to hold. GLA.

AB may give thought to updating Twitter with a message to let us know how the staff have been affected there, and has progress been suspended for a while or is communication with partners still taking place. It doesn't have to be an RNS, but would help lighten peoples fears in this dark period.

Monthly candlestick chart also shows FTSE and dow Jones bouncing off long term trend line (2001 FTSE and 2009 dow) Could be the bottom unless the trend line is broken.

Agree Riskybusiness. I wish I knew where the bottom will be though. If the virus isn't going to peak for another 2 months or so can we expect more share price drops over that period. If so, we might see single digits again!

I'm sure AB recently stated that due to the number of sales queries AFC were receiving they were going to employ extra sales resources. So nowt to worry about with the appointment.

Yes Newboy58 you can't rule it out completely but they've just appointed a Sales director, so we should give him a few weeks to close any deals. If there's nothing forthcoming by the AGM I'm sure the BOD's will have a busy day explaining what the delay is.

And as Sharesport posted yesterday they have already stated in the Final Results that due to the earlier fund raises they already have enough in the bank to last 2020.

Maybe the MM's think there'll be a news vacuum for a few weeks due to the exercise of the options...who knows?? Does seem odd though especially as AFC was holding up well when all else was in freefall.
