Did you miss something? Perhaps the press and fans are inspired by your unjustified but relentless positivity around the prospects of BMR. It's one thing or the other with you, isn't it. How about cautious optimism or prudent concern? Too dull?
KlueLoss, your question wasn't address to me, but I have a view so will share. I can't see how a NOMAD will sign up before a relisting of the shares is certain. They will not want the stigma of representing a share that has been removed from the market within days / weeks of taking it on. I also still harbour concerns on the future of the license, so they may also want that resolved. Perhaps the visit to Kabwe will give them sufficient confidence to go ahead. Maybe AB's relationship there is strong enough.
If the NOMAD is Peterhouse, maybe they will take it on. The other candidates (at a vaguely educated, by mainly blind guess!) would appear to be SP Angel or Spark. I would expect them to want the way forward to be sorted.
Perhaps AB already has the extension agreed, but wants to keep JLP motivated? That is an approach that I would understand.
Yes, time is the challenge. When Bring speaks next with AB, he should push very hard on the application for extensions to the AIM deadlines. There is NO good reason not to try for an extension. Relying on Africa to deliver in time is taking an unecessary risk.
Vigenere - what a miserable and arrogant person you are. Getcarter managed to disagree with me in an amusing way. You, on the other hand, really couldn't cope with the challenge.
No surprises and then I think of something that I am surprised about!
Thanks Bring, no surprises there. It's still all about the license. Get that sorted and everything else should come together (although I've no idea on whether the new investors will follow through, obviously). Am surprised that the NOMAD is visiting Kabwe at this point - that's 15k that BMR could do without spending. The license won't be straightforward, particulalry making it happen this month.
So, you also like to patronise and misquote about football too? Pointing out that the whole team gets found out at international level amply demonstrates my awareness of England's limitations. They beat the teams that they were capable of beating, until they lost out to Croatia, a team of a similar level.
Not what I said. Just that the team did well and Sterling was in the team. The whole team gets found out international level. They were all poor in the second half last night and trying to pick a scapegoat is the english fan's disease.
I refute that assertion. England, with Sterling in the team, has just had their most successful tournament in 28 years.
Raheem Sterling is probably England's best football player. The fact is that he is too good for the rest of the team. Watch him play for Man City. Why do we always have to pick a scapegoat? The whole team had a terrible 45 minutes last night and are out because of it.
By the way, I am next in Zambia in September. One meeting is with Zambia Railways, based in Kabwe. So I will try and find time to visit the broken hill mine.
Bring - it's not an unreasonable view to think that BMR is finished. There are some significant hurdles to, er, hurdle. But, they are not insurmountable. Deadlines in Africa are quite meaningless, which is my main concern given BMR's corporate issues. I disagree with AB's strategy of not asking for an extension to the AIM deadlines. Sure, they may say no, but he loses nothing by trying. If they say yes then the pressure is off for a while. But AB has far more information available when making his decision. Is it better from AB if BMR is off the market? I start to wonder if that is actually his goal. I don't think so, but I struggle to see why he doesn't try and get himself more time. Maybe AIM has told him that an extension is unlikely to be granted? That comment has gone on too long, but I can't figure out this issue! Things going well in Africa this month makes the rest fall into place.
Vedanta? Bunch of crooks.
Interesting. I didn't realise that Kabwe is also known locally as Black Mountain, although it's an obvious name to give it. I've seen Kitwe Black Mountain; it's a whole different scale.
What is happening at Black Mountain has no direct impact on BMR. Different tailings, different license area.
I have a different view on this. Sure, it's illegal, but that material has caused the local community a lot of problems. People are just trying to get by. BMR has tied up the material for years, completely failing in their obligations to get it cleaned up, create employment and pay taxes and royalties. Get the project going and none of tje illegal mining happens.
That was me, Rosewell!
Bring, what makes you think this is easy? Maybe ten years of BMR trying to get it off the ground?
Whether the end of august will be the day to forget the past, I dont know. If BMR relists and JLP confirms plans and a comfortable license situation, the we can start figuring out how much profit can be made. I have no need to be pessimistic or optimistic. I will leave that to investors.
