RE: SP Angel BMN update14 Sep 2018 14:42
Pdub I hope you didn't misinterpret my last comment as a broker attack as that wasn't my intention. The post before that regarding SMC, yes that was a criticism as they shouldn't make mistakes like that. Regardless of how likely it is that potential investors come across broker notes or not, that doesn't excuse basic errors particularly as in some instances they are paid by the company for services.
In regards to my last post all I meant was what they have said in the broker note is vindication of what has been said on this board continually for new investors to see for some time. It's actually very positive, if we are visited by any naysayers seeding doubt we now have an extra response in our locker. Recent history shows some long term posters under attack saying that our forecasts are wrong, fanciful, ridiculous, pie in the sky, take your pick. Well hey you know what, it's now not just us saying it brokers notes are too!
In relation to SP Angel, I actually interpret that closing comment as an olive branch. Do you know what LSE members? It looks like you were right and we were too conservative. Going forward I take it as an indicator that this board and the broker are going to be more aligned in future, which can only be a good thing.
Of course I also fully appreciate that many here are living and breathing everything BMN day in day out, investigating and commenting every piece of information, digesting everything said in minute detail, monitoring shipping and forecasting results long before official channels do. That is why I am proud to be a small contributor on this board which is beyond all doubt the best board I have ever participated in.
Of course brokers don't just have BMN to worry about unlike us so it is no wonder we are usually ahead of the analysis curve.
