Does anyone that may have better brokers than me have any details on the OO yet. I know the price obviously, but nothing more.

Was wondering about the designation of Gummies after last week's ruling in Germany.

"A court case confirmed that German authorities consider CBD products either a prescription medicine or novel food.

The ruling followed the direction of the European Union (EU), which has ruled that the cannabinoid and products containing cannabidiol can’t be yet be sold without additional safety research.

The novel foods distinction is given to products if they have not been significantly consumed before 1997.

Under that designation, CBD cannot be marketed in EU countries without authorization, which requires research.

As a result, CBD has remained widely unregulated in the EU, with few member states enforcing the European Commission’s novel foods policy after the ruling in January.

The European Industrial Hemp Association is challenging the EU’s designation of CBD, arguing that because the crop has been eaten for centuries, its components and extracts shouldn’t be considered new. The appeal is pending.

German authorities have said that although hemp itself might not qualify as a novel food, food products with cannabinoids derived from hemp are considered novel food.

A new industry group in the United Kingdom made up of about 25 companies from Europe and North America also is working to foster compliance in Britain with the EU novel foods designation for CBD."

TBH, at this price, with all the upcoming news and recent developments it's an excellent price to take a punt. IMO

That would be OO not IPO and as they are your broker it's would be easier to go through them, if interested, rather than sign up to Primary Bid. As Radders says, the funds would go to the company coffers with either rather than on the open market where they don't.
But glad you had something. Barclays have sent nothing as yet.
But that's par for the course with them.

Still have a few for November including submission of planning pre-construction documentation and the release of revised construction tender documents.
The appointment of the new Chairman before the AGM next Friday would be a good move IMO. Or is that asking too much.

Just because someone puts up a contrarian opinion does not atuomatically make them a troll, shorter or uninvested. As we spend an awful lot of time underwater on most stocks, well I seem to, do we have to be happy about it or post opinions that only comform to some sort of confirmation bias. I find posts that question things a much better read and source of things to reserch. If only to come to the conclusion that they are barking up the wrong tree. And a damned better read than the normal bun fights between certain posters, day after day... Now they are tedious.
And as for ad hominam replies. Heard them all before.

Droderick, I think that's a little unfair to isolate Setanta. I'm sure we all appreciate how things have moved on , at pace, since the coup. And just how bad the previous BoD were. And because of them, we are still being blamed for issues that they created. See Twatter.
These new guys have done an exceptional job. And that has kept me invested. But, unless you are a recent share holder, we carry that long suffering history with us. More so with our original buy in prices. With that goes the endless averaging down just to stay within a chance of ever turning a profit. But, we kept on doing it. Time after time. But, it does get boring. You do loose hope. You do wonder if you should just cut your losses and more on. But then, they go and buy H&W. WTF?
No one knows what will hapen next. Crash and burn, as some of those on twatter would like, or become all that JW would like. Or, somewhere in the middle.
Anyhoo, don't jump on individuals. We all feel this. Some might be more vocal. And, maybe far more eloquent, than me.
But, we are all in this this together.

Cheers Tango. Looks like you answered my question while is was writing.

So, let's say the primary bid is successful and is closed. Do we still get a chance to participate through our own brokers in the OO. Even though I'm reluctant to do so as I would be diluting myself I would like to have the chance to bring my average down. Tempted to just use funds in my trading account and buy on the open market and have done with it. I know that doesn't put money into the companies coffers but, TBH, they've not done me any favours in the past. Just sayin'...
After nearly eight years of dilution I'm kinda fed up with it. Will be over 4000%, not including outstanding warrants, options and the like, from just 91m back then to ... unknown billions.
