One thing that does irk me a little is releasing news via the press/ twitter etc before RNSing it first.
You can't monitor every single news feed, but you can watch the official ones for news.
No biggy, but still anoying. And has happened many a time on many stocks over the years.

I believe a lot of the price action yesterday was driven by the algo bots jumping on this.
Reasuring jump up first thing, so we will see who made the right decision.

Personally, haven't watched TV in years. Although, out of habit I guess, I still haven't canceled my license fee DD.
I work from home (workshop) quite often, depending on what project I have on at the time.
But, as I live miles from anyone, in a forest, this social distancing, isolation thing is quite the norm for me.
Besides trips to the pub of an evening, that is. My kids, who are working/studying abroad and at Uni, say I live in a bubble.
But, in situations like this, a bubble is fine by me.
Might I suggest listening to a TED talk online rather than day time TV. Far more rewarding and stimulating, imo. :)

You may have made the right choice there, PrayFor. Was lookling at the charts last night to try and extrapolate them over the new week or so to answer Whippetout's orignial question. Going by the long and short trend lines and moving averages, as of close yesterday, they were still on track for either a slower rise sideways of more the same.
As of mid morning it's all changed as it's dropped below both trend lines and the MA's have reversed.
Time will tell as I don't think we have seen the worse of this crisis just yet.

Touching on some of what NT says in the e-mail. Some growers are certainly looking to be more causious as they go into this years growing season. Whilst others are eager to get planting. (end of May begining of June)

From what I've read the outdoor seasons planting is around the same time as the corn season. Obviously varies dependant on location, south to north that is.

I've resided my self to hold these for the long term and, although still it's interesting watching the daily ups and down, I'm too bothered what it does short term. So I'm slowy weening myself off the need to check, but it is hard I must admit. :)

Re alcohol: When a "friend" had a go at making CBD from some plants he "found" he used alcohol (actually ethanol) as the solvent to extract the CBD.

Personaly I never get time to do this kind of dealing as being a tradesman I'm out at work all day.
ATM, I'm just having a good time dealing shares that would normally never be on my radar whilst recovering from chest issues, probably work related. And with this virus I have be extra careful. Normaly it's just reaserch, buy ang forget. :)
