It's not about SA accumulating wealth with as little risk as possible. The main reasons he should buy shares with real money are:

1. To show the market that SBTX is a real business and not some P&D scam;

2. To defend himself and his job with voting power if the need arises;

3. In tandem with other directors, ensure that the required resolutions are passed.

SA's options give him an incentive to succeed but if he doesn't, he walks away a free man having lost nothing. Directors who want to convince shareholders that they believe in their company should be aligning themselves with retail investors by buying shares on the market. I'm sure SA has swerved numerous opportunities to do that and I assume that must be for one of the following reasons:

1. He can't afford it (possible but unlikely);

2. He doesn't think the company will succeed (possible but unlikely);

3. He knows that the runway ahead is strewn with dilutive events (possible);

4. He knows that there are still many millions of SBTX shares to be dumped (very possible);

5. He has always been handcuffed by his Nomad (improbable).

They will presumably announce the arrival of the payment due from Croda before the year end. Will we be told the quantum? Presumably enough to shore up the claim of no further need for working capital fundraisings. Do we even know what it's for?

The Croda agreement lasts forever. SA replied to my question thus:

"With regards to our agreement with Croda it is in perpetuity with multiple jump clauses that favour ourselves (failure to ramp up, minimum order quantities, use outside of the agreed commercial sector etc)"

I like the acquisition - even though Coleman must be the smallest fish in a very big pond. But it appears to be loss-making which, added to Nexus' 2024 loss of £2.7m and the £5m purchase price will make a pretty big dent in Nexus' £12.8m of cash and cash equivalents. And if Nexus do the right thing and invest capital into Coleman to grow that business then we could soon be looking at a rights issue or other fundraising scheme. I'm looking to top up but wondering how long to wait…

Good update. Seller cleared. New major investor bought on-market. House prices up last month. Politicians about to pledge boom time for house builders… would that do it?

I did ask a couple of questions at the recent investor presentation. One got answered and the other was ignored. The ignored question was: Do you think that Nexus is a possible takeover target?

Was that trade a typo? Otherwise, 1,416,058 @ 0.0001 looks like the end of the road.

Numis rump finally cleared leaving the SP to rise (/fall) naturally – at least until/unless another big seller turns up. Would like to know why Numis divested.

Last trade was at 90p (Ordinary) which seems an abnormally big uptick for this stock. Is something being revealed at the investor presentation on Friday?

Looks like someone did finally bail out on 3/5/24, selling 4m shares at just 0.015 for a total of £600. Very sad…little more than a month previously the same shares cost almost 3 grand.

With these shares selling at 0.02 today (80% down from 3 months ago) and delisting imminent with no offered trading platform, why have some shareholders/evangelists not yet written off their investment?

If Global Hemp buy any assets, the remnants will be worthless and any cash will disappear so shareholders will get nothing.

If it looks like a scam and smells like a scam it probably is a scam.

Welcome and substantial increase in the order book to £72m in today's trading update - plus other signs of the market picking up. Cash is down to £9.3m though which could indicate slow payers or just the seasonal opex peak. And no debt.

I topped up yesterday so perhaps my timing was perfect for once…

So next week's creditors meeting will consider "to consider the early destruction of books and records". Hard to think of a good innocent reason for that motion.
