Big numbers but do we have any evidence/confirmation that Skin's laboratory produced lysate is contains only natural and organic ingredients, free from synthetic chemicals and additives?

The annual report doesn't mention the "organic" word except in its description of expansion plans; and while it talks about the human skin's "natural" barrier, it doesn't describe their products as natural.

If the lysate were actually organic/natural, wouldn't SBTX would have been shouting about it? Maybe it's somewhere else.

You could argue that repeating posts fills a no-news void but for me, only post if you have something new to say. Sometimes the board looks rather spammy and that can put newcomers off.

The only other possible explanation is that the MM is sitting on a similar sized or bigger buy order which he hasn't yet reported. Otherwise, a trade of this size always impacts the SP, albeit not necessarily at the time the trade is reported. It's how markets work.

It must have impacted the SP, whenever it was placed. Without the 6 figure dumps reported at close of play, the SP would be well ahead of where it sits…unless the trade was days old in which case it could have been a buy.

SP up 25p in just a few days of light trading. Something must be going on.

Rest assured that if Croda were not about to launch new products incorporating SBTX tech then SA would have had to issue an RNS update about it before now. Them's the rules.

Nick1978 - nope, the NDA was in place at the time of the 19/11 RNS which said:

"Under the terms of the agreement, all details about formulation, functionality and Croda's financial expectations remain confidential due to the competitiveness of the cosmetics market."

So the NDA did allow SA to say that the first payment was due by the year end and would therefore have allowed him to confirm that this payment had been received.

You're looking at the wrong RNS. The 19 November 2024 RNS stated:

"Following the meetings with Croda, management can confirm that revenues will be received before year end."

Couldn't be clearer.

AquaeSulis01, I don't think this discussion is about revealing the financial impact of the initial Croda payment. It is only about acknowledging that the payment has been received. No-one is expecting to be told the amount of the payment at this stage but the simple fact that money has been received (if it has) is a significant milestone confirming that the talk has finally translated into revenue.

There is certainly an art to writing RNS's which deliberately give a false impression without telling any lies - which must be part of a Nomad's training. There's also an art to reading them.

You are obviously seeing something in that RNS which I am missing. The first para of your quoted text talks about 2025 revenues while the second para says only that revenues are expected to start gradually. The 'commercialisation' by Croda of SBTX would have begun when the contract was signed so that doesn't signify that any money had yet changed hands. The post year-end summary of additional monies received did not mention any Croda revenue.

AquaeSulis01, all well and good but the RNS channel is the official one and needs to be followed through in an RNS after previously stating (despite the NDA) that Croda funds would be received by the year end. If SA didn't want to create a rod for his own back, he could have left it out and we would be none the wiser.

As for the years of delay, I'm not a sufferer having come late to the SBTX party so my investment was in full knowledge of the prior history. I agree with those who pardon the delays. Croda can be forgiven for extending the timeline as it is such a far-reaching commitment for them and obviously needed to be thoroughly tested. Those delays may have benefited us by throwing up additional, unforeseen applications for Skin's patents, about which time will tell.

I'm very comfortable that the fruits of the deal will be launched in April so anything which does or doesn't happen between now and then is fairly irrelevant to me. But I can understand those who bought SBTX at higher prices being nervous about past failures to deliver.

Croda clearly allowed SA to make the announcement that the first Croda cash would be received by the year end so it makes no sense that SA would be prohibited from announcing receipt.

The only logical explanation I can come up with is that, notwithstanding any indications to the contrary, SBTX has not yet received the promised cash.

None of the Croda-related RNS's specifically mentions lysates so I won't be surprised if other SBTX patented technologies are also in play, viz Proteins, Secretory, Filaggrin, Skin BioBlend and Photoprotective - see notes at the foot of their patent portfolio:
