belgrano, could you explain your logic for this statement? AFAICT, the only one on the list who added more thn handful via the 17p raise is David Brierwood. SA did say that existing SBTX IIs had been upset with him for not approaching them with the offer.

The updated Significant Shareholder list on the SBTX website reveals that Tyndall have sold over 2m shares while Seneca sold almost 700k. Let's hope we haven't lost them altogether with this sudden money grab. Oddly, OPTI has added 178k; but there are no new notifiable holdings so 24m 17p shares are floating around somewhere.

Below link is to the standard Superdrug supply order T&Cs. The terms differ for branded or own-label stock but include, for example:

1. "In case of late delivery, ASW shall be entitled to charge late fees amounting to 1% of the invoice value of the late consignment per day of delay, notwithstanding any damages that ASW may also claim for losses incurred by it due to the delay."

2. "The Supplier acknowledges that any forecasts or projected sales data provided by ASW does not constitute a firm commitment by ASW to order such quantities from the Supplier until Purchase Order is issued.

Notwithstanding Clause 19 above, Supplier is responsible for maintaining a minimum stock cover of finished Private-Label Products, as reasonably specified by ASW from time to time. ASW will not be responsible for any stock or components in excess of such minimum stock cover."

3. "The Supplier acknowledges that any forecasts or projected sales data provided by ASW does not constitute a firm commitment by ASW to order such quantities from the Supplier until Purchase Order is issued."

4. "Neither party shall disclose to third parties any details relating to the other party, including prices and sales figures, technical or commercial details or any other confidential information which has been obtained in connection with the Contract, unless such disclosure is required by law or regulatory authority."

WILLG, sachet doesn't mean powder. They do some limited sachets which appear to be for pet food, ie wet contents. They list their capabilities on their website at https://www.btsl.uk.com and powder is missing.

I'm afraid you're in dreamland if you think SBTX will get its £4m investment back in a year…or even in five years. Their profit margin on Axis retail sales will be slim. But logically, yes, SBTX will have budgeted for supporting the Superdrug launch in 2026 – although we don't know whether Axis-ac was planned for. It's just about possible that by next year they could have funded the launch from cash in the bank, albeit at a much more realistic/credible level of investment. £4m is madness and SA isn't telling us the full story.

WIILG, BTS don't have the capability to produce powders. You might ask why SBTX don't invest some of its new cash in new plant so that BTS can make the Axis products. Maybe the answer is that the powder formulation will be superseded by capsules, gummies or whatever so why waste cash on powder capex? OTOH, SBTX have failed so far to come up with a convenient alternative delivery method for Axis which keeps the bacteria alive when it reaches the gut. It appears that an unspecified chunk of the new cash will be spent on finding this elusive formulation – but if Dr Cath and her team haven't succeeded by now, we could be throwing good money after bad.
