Actually I didn't make any allowance in my last post for tee percentage of recovery fron the 3 or so % at Munkoyo so probably around half my figure is realistic. i,e. 400 tons a month of copper. Even so that is just from Monkoyo.

Re. the copper targets. In the report about Munkoyo is says

"Commenced operation of the Open-Pit ahead of schedule in July 2024 with the project targeting to expand to 25 000 tonnes per month over the next 10 months."

That would be in itself generate about 800 tons of copper each month ( at around 3%) so I think the estimates for full year 2025 are wildly out.

I'm quite happy about the results and the market reaction (up to now). This was actually the report I was very apprehensive about considering all the delays and restrucruring. Hopefully we can look forward to a steady increase as long as the confetti isn't thrown for too many weddings. There is surely enough room for expansion and growth within our present portfolio and cash should pay for anything extra.

That would be fairly well in line with Zeus sp fair value Gray. Anyone have a better way of doubling their money. Please tell me.

It is quite obvious they are being extremely conservative as Zeus ahve said in the note which gives present fair value at 11p because the likes of him have been jumping all over the optimistic forecasts in the past that weren't met.

Bluebelly, the gist of this is that the US is helping to finance the Lobito Corridor, a revival of a 100-year-old railway line that will transport critical minerals across the wider region. Not only that but an extension of the line is proposed to go through the copper bearing areas of Zambia with a 5 to 6 day travelling time to the Angolan port.

I must say I prefer the rathe Mickawberish approach to the forecasts to what has been happening (to no or negative effect). If they had said 25k of copper and only managed 24 there would no doubt be many complaining and talking the sp down.
