Has anyone else noticed that posts (uncontraversial) keep disappearing off here today?

I know froggers. I should have flogged some like you in the 6's. Just have to twiddle my thumbs for a while now :-( We are all becoming black belt ninth dan in patience.

Last time we were at the levels we bounced back up to 9p within a couple of months. With news that is due about copper and chrome progress we might do the same again. That is as soon as our seller takes a hike. Anyone selling now in hope of buying back in lower is taking a risk.

Silvania getting hammered today. Moving production into Chrome but behind the curve. All the more reason for investment to move in here

Most of the discussion is about 2025 ISAman. We will only know the facts about 2024 which is hopefully not a typical year with so much time money and effort spent on expansion

He hasn't actually lost anything Heroric unless he sells. when Warren Buffett started investing his first buy was Gillette and it experienced a huge fall in the sp but he didn't sell and it made him an enormous amount of money. And yet Heroric, the board of the Slater funds deliberately went against their normal policy of not endorsing share issues for such purchases as they said it would leave jlp with a freer hand for future aquisitions and other calls on their cash. Who are you to say the board should resign when their major shareholder agrees with them? I suppose you know better?

It wasn't Leon that brought the big seller up Edzi it was Charles. Maybe the seller has finished looking at today's trades. Even so it will however take a bit of time to get some confidence back that the sp is not going to be trashed by more of it.

If Glencore would buy them for the chrome Dorfan, with the businesses split ,the money could be invested to expand copper. Actually I would prefer the two staying together as a hedge against individual metals underperforming.

You would probably have said exactly the same about the chrome strategy (excuse) not long ago Buttermilk.

Whether it rises or flattens out has much to do with our seller Kalan unless we attract at least and equal number of buyers. Whatever the charts say. Hopefully they are gone or almost gone. The sp is crazy.

Completely agree Dorfan. Charts don't tell you anything and sometimes nothing at all. Not only a good time to buy but also to hang on unless you are a gambler.

Not should! If the sp doesn't recover after all that Gray it will be a rather unique situation.

Interesting read but here is an observation. Hopefully not star spangled or agressive.

There is far too much about you in your posts as if you are constantly trying to analyse your motives. It is all much too subjective concerning how you are feeling at any given moment. What we need here is fairly hard headed analysis about the companies progress and prospects and that is what is in the article that I reposted. Quite obviously over the year things have happened that were not accounted for in the analysis and it might be useful to see what the effect on the prognoses for 2028 might be. It does state that the emphasis should not be on the ups and downs that we are experiencing short term but on the long term prospects. The fact that few have picked up on this makes it the "exceptional eary bird opportunity" and now that we know that copper production is actually being ramped up and chrome production is at an all time high it is even more of one that one year ago. If some on here disagree perhaps they should read the analysis again and tell us where it is wrong.

For those who didn't read this a year ago or who have forgotten it this article may be woth comparing with what has happened to date.

I agree that there does not seem to have been that amount of trading activity Seis. I just wonder if it is possible that large tranches have been picked up by other fund managers off the market. Would that show up anywhere? Actually though, as Gray says it comes down to delivery which is when the market will actually get sight of evrything that jubilee can offer that others cannot.

Edzi, To add insult to injury here are the Morning Star figures for JLP top stock holders. They don't agree with either Fidelity or JLP ones that have been posted. Again we need better information especially before we start discounting the veracity of each other.
