He has been unwilling to answer any questions about the shares whether thathas been about who was selling or buying. I just don't think he feels it is his business to do so.

Edzi, your theories are worth no more than anyone else's on here. You cant compare what has happened to a company in the past to what is happening here. I agree with Seis that the shares wer taken up by many different actors and most of them if not all are too small to report.

Maybe you were right to sell Lootgaloot but that will only be the case if JLP stays where it is and if you don't get back in cheaper. No-one in their right mind thinks the sp is remotely fair as the SA business on its own is worth more than that. In the meantime don't bring up at least two of the selling funds as any reason as to why you think the sp may be justified. The reasons for the sale are well know and have nothing to do with the health of JLP.

Lets hope somebody saves us for as sure as hell the BOD won't at this rate !

Hopefully they wouldn't take that price Genises but it would give the sp an immediate boost which could then improve from a more realistic base . That, or it could start a bidding war between some of the big boys.

Thats what I said Edzi, 1/10th of the shares in issue but that is assuming they all went to one buyer. There may well have been several smaller funds buying up shares as well as PIs and these will not have to report ownership except on their own websites.

Can't disagree regarding the number of shares issued but you can't ignore the reasons for theissue. It is not always a bd thing if the proceeds are to be used for enhancing the bottom line. If they are used just to keep the company afloat that is a different matter. We shall wait and see re. the first point when 2025 figures arrive. Edzi, 300million shares is 1/10 or less of the shares in issue. They do not provide a platform on their own to cause a problem. Slater has more and he doesn't seem to have a huge impact on the management.

I don't think I said it would BE a 100 bagger Fatman just that it satisfied SOME of the criteria. Even 100 baggers take many years to do that, 20+ or more so who knows. We are not talking about this year or the next 5 years. It does however have the potential to at least 5 bag in the next few months if the production capacity is anywhere near fully utilized. Re 2010, it's a very different company to what it was then.

I recieved the book "100 Baggers" for Christmas by Christopher Mayer. Only scanned through it as yet but from the list of criteria he provides to look out for it looks like JLP fulfills a considerable number. More info later.

Fatman. Maybe you should look at the facts before you start commenting. (I don't think you have posted here before?) I doubt very much whether LC is thinking anything of the kind . There is little doubt that JLP has grown in terms of its potential to produce much more product this year and is still expanding into some exciting opportunities. Unfortunately dame fortune has been playing a different game. Any company hit by the selling off of two or three major holdings which has nothing to do with its performance would struggle and that is what has happened here in a development phase. Next year or next half year will be the test. If nothing changes the certainy criticism will be justified but this company is certainly not "a con trick" or an illusion of creating something.

Totally agree Seis. At no time have I felt that things are getting out of control as they might have done under other management. As you say it's just comms that are the problem and they need to get a good english graduate, full or part time to oversee them. Scientists and Engineers are often not the best communicators.
