Orion. The sp actually tells you that a couple of funds have been selling down at whatever price they can get over the last few months. Without that I doubt very much that we would be this low. It will take time to reverse this. Not to say that Leon doesn't share some of the blame. If it doesn't improve he will comeunder significant pressure to change his job description.

Bear in mind none of this is priced in to the sp. If they find it's not worth it then they will have the capacity to move on to rocks and waste that they know have value.

The RNS on the 20th only said the company was "actively preparing " to start up Roan but didn't give any indication as to how long that would take. Unlike the Thutse plants where Leon said they would take about seven weeks to commission. I think that constantly trying to put a timescale on everything without knowing the circumstances is setting up needless concerns around failure.

Kalan, your vote for socialism ( actually there have been no real socialist governments in UK) made no difference to what happened in the UK. Poor education and deindustrialisation in your town was a more likely culprit. I taught in a northern town all my life and was educated there at a Grammar School as well so I know how poor that education was (including the Grammar). The majority of governments since the war have been Tory and that is not counting the Blair years . The problem with the UK has been execrable management due to the old boy network of public schools and entrepeneurs wanting a quick buck, selling out or moving abroad. I don't think the awful performance over the last 12 years can be ascribed to left wing tendencies unless you happen to be somewhere right of Mussolini ;-)
