HappyD. Who says I am not concerned about Zambia in the slightest? I have the same concerns as everyone but some choose to make their concerns into an attack on the companies prospects or pronouncements. I wait and see. The circular will help. Idon't shut people down by the way I just ask them on what basis their accusations or projections are made. Granted some don't like awkward questions. Perhaps stems from me being a union rep at one time .

That is not a reason. What will not be operating? What will prevent them reaching that goal. If you take progress in SA into account then "track record" means something else.

"why do you have to sell SA to pay for expansion in Zambia" I don't know, let's wait and see but if you are basically saying don't believe the circular then you might well sell now . If Plat prices are high and remain high I think the board will have to think again in any case and at the very least seek a better offer.. Why not sell Tjate for instance. With high prices a PGM miner could be interested. Only the figures they have used to arrive at the decision will tell us anything. I'm a pragmatist in all things.

If the company is in the last chance saloon why sell the PGMs ? If they are going to make as much as some on here think the company is nowhere near "the last chance saloon" Some on here assemble their thoughts in cliches and think they are being clever. Either JLP is running out of cash or not and clearly the answer is the former.

Best thing is to make a copy every couple of sentences bottoms then if it gets wiped out you don't have to go through the rigmarole of writing it all out again. Learned the hard way.

Not at all Happy. Just reiterating what I have read from newspaper reports aroung Platinum. Obviously if the price stays anywhere near what it did before we would be making big money (in fact it's higher in sterling now). The problem is that historically it never stays there for very long and we then are back on a rollercoaster ride. Good for traders but not LTHs like me. The advantage of copper is that we can see a big future extending for many years ahead. As they say, you pays your money and you takes your choice,. As I have said I will wait for the circular and make my mind up then. I am sure there will be comment from other sources than this board to take advice from.

A lot of it is on the back of jewellery sales as gold has gone higher. It's hard to see that continuing.
