Anyone who checked the Google Finance B90 chart yesterday morning would have seen this and that is what fooled many. I was puzzled but the capitalization figure for the company just didn't make sense - an £80 share price made B90 worth billions - just not possible. Feel sorry for those who got caught out by this - blame Google Finance. The chart has now been corrected!

Tried a dummy sell at 16.25 and the spread was 48/50.

I'm afraid supply and demand is only one factor in setting the share price. I have seen prices rise many times with sells outnumbering and outbalancing buys. Less so the other way. Anyway - not worth arguing over! GL!

So, according to your theory prices only go up when there's a buying spree and only go down when there's a selling spree? This is always the case!

Yes - the buyers are pushing it but they don't set the price. It seemed like the graph is suggesting a 46/47 finish - which would have been the MM objective but now it looks as though it will beat that and push 50.

Looks like the MMs are pushing it back up towards the close to the day's high (46/47.5 or thereabouts).
