Kiwi no offence taken at all, I agree that with what u r saying.. statistically so far both sides can come up with exaggerated twisted facts to suit their agenda… in reality what we r seeing now is what some of us have been saying since November.. yes vaccines will help, immensely, but they will not stop the spread (impossible to vaccinate 100% of the population with a 100% effective vaccine) and we badly need therapeutics.. I am just hoping we won’t be in the exact same situation in July 2022..

The correction was that 60% are not vaccinated, which doesn’t really make it any better, as 40% are still vaxed.. that was the only correction, everything else was correctly reported… so yea can’t say this changes the situation, especially with regards to the spread

That is actually pretty shocking.. a lot has been lately though lol doesn’t boost one’s confidence in that trial

31 years old isn’t in in the young group age.. and secondly, a lot of these ppl have issues with health that they didn’t know about, so again ppl posting things like this are no better than the vax deniers posting about vaccines killing ppl in an inflated dramatic manner… ppl don’t look after themselves and don’t know if they have health issues most of the time and that’s a big problem when dealing with covid.. Mike u r turning into a conspiracy type poster, give it a rest, or learn to read properly, before forming an opinion about my statements

Exactly doc, it leaves is in unknown territory but thankfully israel will provide the data come august/September, I am just hoping that Boris will actually use it, I am honestly more afraid for ppls lives because of boris’s decisions rather than covid itself.. therapeutics are needed urgently as in some countries we have pretty much reached the highest vaxed numbers and it won’t get higher than that at any given time, if anything the numbers will be lower, and we can already see that vaccines alone will not solve this problem.. drugs are needed badly, without them we will not see normal life return

Doc in the same report they were saying that the effectiveness to protect from being hospitalised could fall to 80% by august and that’s what gave the first alarm bell with regards to booster shots… Israel has provided a lot of good data so far and hopefully Boris the idiot will look at it before making imports decisions

Mike, it’s not complacency, it’s common sense.. plenty of data shows that vaccines are as dangerous to the young as is covid, in ppl below 30, covid is less dangerous than the vaccine (complications wise), so why would young ppl who are healthy get vaccinated is beyond my understanding.. we shouldn’t put them through this, that’s not fair on them.. like I said a million times, vaccinate everyone who is in danger and open things up.. what we need are drugs to help ppl when it’s needed, and not useless lockdowns that do more damage than good..

If we do get to those numbers we will see just how effective the vaccine really is during a major outbreak.. a lot of ppl will be needing a booster shot come august/September so I can’t see boris’s strategy of “running out of ppl” working
