Doc, you need to learn the meaning of the word suggests.. if I suggest something, that’s not a fact… atm the available data shows no such thing, vaccines haven’t stopped the spread, and that’s a fact..

Mike, you are forgetting that ppl in their 20s and younger are more likely to get complications from the vaccines than from covid, if they are healthy.. so what u r saying only works for ppl who are in the vulnerable age group or just below it.. and with regards to the spread, data clearly shows that vaccines do not stop covid from spreading. They do make ur life easier and reduce the chance of complications drastically which is a great thing ofc..

Number of deaths are low though, so that’s the most important thing.. however we don’t know how the virus will behave if we get say 100k cases a week, what kind of a mutation will come out of it etc.. if things don’t change than the vaccine will contain the number of deaths if over 70% of the population in vaxed and the cycle isn’t broken.. that in itself is pretty much impossible due to emergency approach being lifted.. exactly what I’ve been saying since November, unless we stay in a military type environment (China) vaccinating such large amounts of ppl will be impossible.. we already know that booster shots will be needed but if we get a new/worse mutation (which is very probable atm) by September, the booster shot might be useless.. in that case good luck to us all

So there we have it, after reading the Bloomberg article now I am 99% sure ppl above 50 will need to get a booster jab before winter and the worst wave of the year… this will be extremely complicated as the jab will only be ready around September/October time, and with a shortage of supplies and already stretched logistics, if sng or similar therapeutics aren’t available, we could be seeing a horrible picture once again around the world…
