Thanks for your thoughts and estimated data - very interesting.
And i realise JLP has other potentials, and very much growth in mind, with tailings recovery systems that are repeatable in other applicable countries.
A PE of 2 seems very low to me, what might a realistic PE be for a growing tailings recovery company ?

You say "as soon as inflation kicks in...it will crash to half of that" - what are the implications on the immediacy you mention when considering the following two thoughts...
The down turn in the economy (prompting the printing) was forced through recession of sorts by governments
And the resulting stimulus will result in a growth period (investment in infrastructure & pent up demand), i suspect we have a few years of growth before the retraction in the economy.
Is the POG near term movement divorced from the outcome of these two points ?

lol - as they say money makes money and GGP plus another mined materials recovery company have been my recent targets (for different risk return reasons).
I would not be here if i didn't see a multiple upside over the next 3-4 years even as a recent investor, hence the 1.2m purchased.
Certainly one factor i didn't anticipate was the level of knowledge and commitment from the core who reside here.
Onwards & upwards as they say - let's face it where ever you read the macro economics and those that report and monitor the markets GGP keeps figuring in the 2021 mix.
Here's to a positive 2021 and beyond for a number of reasons.

Isn't the installation of Shaun Day (and his specific skill set) an indication of where GGP want to go...
I suspect GGP's time line plan doesn't include being an acquisition target.
I suppose the problem i have are the implications of a transition into being an exploratory & mining company...

I absolutely agree with your view, spot on.
I as a newbie invested significantly at 23p and did so with the view from the data and potential that there was a significant multiple upside.
I did take on board much of the recent data, and also data provided by the members here who have been long standing & knowledgeable contributors (thank you).
My belief is that your figures stack up over a 2-4 year window (for the upper end multiple), though i am happy to stay invested way beyond that time scale.
I too have put some aside into early "punts" - though one i think has a low risk return ratio is JLP - (only sharing this in response to your post). All said in my own opinion.

I followed him too - can't wait for his next "insight / update" - i believe with all his other figures being in pence / GBP his price of gold was too.
And to be clear these SP figures have no allowance for other activities / RNS's outside the Havieron project.

I am on board and very significantly at c8p. And have done my JLP research - i was simply asking about other investors views on recent SP retraction and institutional re-balancing. I too am with GGP but do not see the same risk reward profile as JLP who is by comparison "relatively" risk free at surface.

Newbie here for the long journey - Does anyone else believe that the recent SP retraction may be related to institutional rebalancing ?

I have read here recently about the various factors driving GGP SP forward, i also watched the Cadia project which seems to have a 30 year life (suggested by others as a similar type project).
Do we expect GGP to remain involved in this project as it grows and increases production over the years ?
Do we expect dividends in the fulness of time or GGP being bought out ?
I am trying to get a sense of whilst "sitting on hands" and "holding for gold" which makes absolute sense IMO - what do we think the end game might look like and over what period of time...?

I too am a newbie - bought in heavily at 8p, and agree that timing wise it's a better risk Vs reward profile now.
Lot's of positives : Leon, macro economics, resultant price of copper, future demand for PGM's, refined technical solutions, the green angle, and i am assuming all replicable in other countries...

Just jumping in here - i defo agree you need advice and it needs to be of a tax nature.
One suggestion to throw in (to your future conversation) is the use of an off shore trust (OST) they have some tax breaks over a 20 year period on a 5% tax free draw down per year basis - BUT at this point i bow out and let you do your own research.

A newbie and been in for a short period down against the last weeks rises but defo not in it for the short term.
share prices go up and down - it's the trajectory and underlying fundamentals that are important - sitting on hands a perfect solution to the patience required for the next 2-3 years of GGP SP increases.
I hold some significant emerging market funds, and have put cash into old & rare Japanese & Scottish whiskies - but by far the most exciting is this company - all signs are this going to be big even bigger than my 55 year old 1928 Macallan.

I have 1.9million shares @ 8p.
A newbie but was attracted by the fact there is no mining risk and presented an unheard of green aspect to this stock.
Additionally, the time line profile of growth does not follow the typical mining profile.
Copper prices on the up, and PGM's, etc too.
Plus i have been impressed by Leon.
What's not to like about this stock !!

Since lock down i have invested in old & rare whiskies (Scottish & Japanese) - they get older and rarer and are a hedge for me.

Yes you truly hold the worst potential given what you say and if the independence referendum comes off.
My daughter started a consultancy job this week in Dubai and that led me to checking out the arrangements there.
The need is to check the cost of living Vs tax savings...

IMO - CGT is in the realms of the rich - the general population is more likely to accept a rise in CGT, however income tax is more of a political risk. Corp tax is also more sensitive.
We have to pay for this government enforced recession due to Covid-19. So taxes first and interest rates in a few years...
It's called inflation remember that - you will be mighty please you hold GGP or similar then. IMO

I too am a UK Ltd Co director and have been for c20 years and have previously lived outside of the UK and legally benefitted from the tax position it offered.
I have not fully explored the Dubai angle yet but have read that they have started offering (ironically) a 5 year (renewable) retirement visa !!
In any event i fully expect a UK taxation environment for the next few years that will penalise those with SIPPS, FIC's (which i have), and will certainly cobber CGT rates (those with capital gain are soft easy non-political targets), and i also believe to a lesser extent Corp tax. (i assume you know about Corp tax pension relief ? - i use that angle through my FIC).
Clearly any move overseas needs to be family friendly (and we are all different), but we are happy relocating, and whilst you live some where for 5 years to satisfy the HMRC you can clearly move around including the UK for a limited number of days a year.
Dubai is one i will check out as they have a zero taxation position (as i say yet to be fully investigated) - though my point is that there are other jurisdictions that will have a better tax position that the UK in the forthcoming years.
On a side note my 4 kids benefited from the living overseas experience and now speak different languages as a result.
I am not qualified to give advice but have started digging as GGP and other investments are pushing me that way, so do not rely on my thoughts please.
