I can't remember the last time i actually used money.
Everything i seem to do is with card - supermarket, and on-line, etc.
So which direction are we travelling in - i buy my goods and services with cards.
My account says "GBP" but could arguably say anything as long as it was recognised...

I think what you do is get an agreement "in principle" from the HMRC of the plan, and then sell and re-purchase the shares towards the end of the 5 years (assuming your holding for the longer term) or an outright sale.
The Dubai requirement is having an amount of cash or income - the thresholds are quite low.

Dubai - CGT / Income tax free, & 5 years as a UK non-ressy / non-UK tax payer...

A good find.
I do remember reading other data about how JLP processes the tailings in an environmentally friendly way (though i lack the engineering detail) - but i see JLP is playing it's part in the process of the "clean up" and as a result should have the wider support from the government in a jurisdiction that otherwise may be problematic...

Totally agree - this is also my position on the subject.
Perfect storm in front of us, only delay is POG manipulation, down side - remember there will be a fall from grace in the future so make hay while the sun shines.

What amount of drilling and lab work would be required to establish with good probability the presence of 2m tonnes ?
Are we talking a years worth of drilling - or something much shorter ?

I wish i fully understood the situation you are describing.
What reason or circumstance would induce a upwards re-rate in the POG ?
Are they forcing the lower POG to ensure they are not loosing money until a certain date is achieved ?
I read about the 30 year cycle and can see POG will head upwards - but can't see what fundamental change (from your message) will trigger the re-rate...

1 Range of metals: PGM's, Copper, Crome, etc
2 Green solution to the Zambian mining mess clean-up, PGM's for planned greener future
3 IP protection on specific processes
4 A truly transportable metals recovery process to other jurisdictions
5 Risk free at surface, with multi source increasing revenues

Can you elaborate on what Anglo American may do given that this asset is starting to look favourable - would they wait until results from the lab or for more drilling results (beyond phase 2) - all the while SP increases ?
Also somebody mentioned a "placing" is going to be required due to a need for further funds for drilling - how does that work given Anglo American's interest ?

I also think timing of this cycle wrt precious metals (PGM's , Copper) and Gold obviously has a lot to do with forthcoming returns. I have only entered this market within the last 6 months and believe you are going to see a significant cycle (SP) upswing. So assuming your stocks are well grounded then up they will go .
