Sorry probably coming at this very late in the day - my LSE watch list shows GGP at 21.5p and my Barclays account shows 24p.
I read there were late trades (very encouraging!) - but am i correct in assuming that the 24p is correct ?

I think it took a year? for GGP to take off and arrive at it's recent highs. GGP + Newcrest is a planned mine.
XTR is a planned sale CB has made it clear - so i wonder to what extent that difference might drive the SP up on speculation, particularly when supported by a revised JORC, location, majors in the area and an impending super cycle...?

Do we know of any specific company result release dates, or even approximate release dates (based on prior years) ?
I also believe that with JLP growing at this rate, a broker will definitely wait for firm data..

A good question (and i have seen this data shared on the GGP board before, it gives a sense of who's in for the long run, and by how much, etc) - if i can start with a response on how committed am i to this stock...

Do you or any other poster have any sense (other examples) of how much drilling (expansion of the resource) may be required to produce a revised JORC and over what sort of time frame to interest a major ?
Clearly there is a play off between XTR proving it up and a major getting in early...
Didn't GGP (Havieron) take about 1 year ??

Agreed - they use Labs i Perth - plus the most recent were over the Xmas period too.

To be of regional importance does this imply that as a potential Tier 2 that other majors already in the area would be the more likely interested parties or at Tier 2 is it open market so to speak ?
Or do you mean something quite different ?

@News - exactly, and we are explorers, i wonder how long folks had to wait on the drilling results at Boda...

Do those dimensions / order of magnitude start to look & feel a little familiar ?
We know the other part of the discovery is grade - the risk of which is being covered off in part by increasing copper prices (some say the start of a super cycle).
I am not ramping just pointing the obvious points out on day 11 of the 3rd drill expanding the width is all...

No RNS as yet - though to be fair we have had them mid day ish followed by Zac M interview...
Either way they have been drilling a looooong time, and as you say +800m.

Thanks that's much appreciated and really helpful to get our head around the scale, concept, and pricing, and realise it's a "view".
I still come back to my point, which - is 1.5 -> 2.0 mt's a scale that the AA's et al would be interested in ?
Looking at the Boda link below it states...
"A large, tier 1 copper project’
New drilling by Alkane shows a large porphyry system 400m wide, 1km long and more then 1.1km deep."
Not so dissimilar to the potential scale of BR. I totally get that grades etc are just as important - i am just trying to establish the point at which size and grade is viable to continue drilling and modelling which in turn would attract the majors and obviously push our SP skywards ?

No - i was meaning is there an existing comparable example of a porphyry mine elsewhere of similar scale and pricing that further shows "viability" of BR ?
Perhaps it better phrased as is there an existing mine of similar scale given current pricing that shows viability of BR ?
