@cyberiachas
I read @theiceberg recent report suggesting potential likely outcomes as we continue to explore the additional holes, including expanding resources at depth.
Excellent thoughts and descriptions for non-geologists, i hope he doesn't mind me re-posting it...
Icebergshares: Xtract Resources Bushranger - Racecourse Prospect
I have been trying to get my head around the expanding resource (RNS's), problem of course is we have 2D images and drills at offset angles with data suggesting a 3D concept of the following...
A Cigar pointing S->N thinner end at the top travelling 45deg down in to the earth with a widening at the bottom with gold deposits likely increasing towards the bottom (consistent with Porphyries).
Using the existing 2D drawing we appear to have two "steps" underneath the upper one thinner, the lower thicker.
The existing JORC reflects the current 2D model and historic drilling results, but the first XTR drill extended length & depth as we know, and the second drill has potentially doubled? the second step width...?
Additionally, the shape is slowly changing from a flatter Cigar to a more rounder shape hence all 3 dimensions (axis) exceeding the existing JORC, i say this on the basis of the drill angle eventually passing right through (+750m) creating the 3rd dimension (if you see my point).
Not being a geologist i can't comment on the finite quality of the RXF readings but other posters certainly seem excited by the mounting data.
I would appreciate if anybody could elaborate the visual understanding of the implied dimensional increases through the drilling data...
Clearly what is required is an updated but preferably 3D image showing where we have exceeded the existing JORC, which i am sure will come in the fullness of time.
This is big and events are proving CB's thoughts on it - and as you say any additional data can only help the understanding of what we have here and ultimately the SP.
